Gionee is all set to introduce its Elife E8 smartphone on June 10. Apart from bringing the 23MP rear camera snapper in the phone along with fingerprint sensor, the Elife E8 will also feature a new digital wallet service.

As per the screenshots we got, the Gionee Wallet will be built-in for the Elife E8 that runs Amigo UI 3.0 based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Like several other digital wallet services, Gionee Wallet will offer storing banking details for quick payment.

Apart from that the online/mobile shopping experience supported by the Gionee Wallet services is expected to be become blissful. The app will also give reward points and awards to the regular users.

Gionee's Wallet service would also be usable with the Shopping Malls, public transport and more services. We wonder if the fingerprint sensor will work along with the Wallet for authenticating the payments.

Blocks Wearables, the UK-based company which is developing the world's first modular smartwatch dubbed Blocks, has announced a partnership with chip giant Qualcomm. The wearable, whose early prototypes were first shown off by the company at this year's CES in Las Vegas, will be powered by the Snapdragon 400 SoC.

Another important point worth noting is that the device will run Android Lollipop, instead of Android Wear, and will be able to work with both Android and iOS devices.

If you aren't in the know, the key selling point of Blocks is that you can customize it the way you want, much like Google's Project Ara smartphone. True to its name, the smartwatch's strap is made up of a series of links or blocks that contain swappable components.

For example, you can use the links to add additional sensors like GPS or heart-rate monitor, as well as components related to cellular connectivity, extended batteries, or contact-less payment. Not only this, you can even swap the face of the smartwatch, switching from a round form factor to a square one.

The company plans to launch a crowd-funding campaign in late summer this year.

A new Motorola handset sporting model number XT1565 has received Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). Although there is no way to confirm this yet, the device could be the third-generation Moto E.

The only basis for the speculation is that the person who has uploaded the image (shown above) has reportedly been leaking information in the past related to Moto E models only.

From what is known until now, the device runs Android 5.1.1 out-of-the-box, and features support for Bluetooth version 4.1.

The Project Zero 2 (formerly known as the Project Zen), which is said to be a larger version of the Galaxy S6 edge, will be called Galaxy S6 Plus, and will be announced in the coming weeks, according to new rumours that have surfaced.

What's worth mentioning is that earlier rumours had indicated that the device would be launched in September at this year's IFA trade show in Berlin.

Specs-wise, the handset is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset with a hexa-core processor, and sport a 5.4- or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display. It is expected to come with 32GB internal memory, and feature a 5MP front and a 16MP rear camera.

The Virgin Mobile variant of the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone, which was released back in June last year, is now available for purchase from Best Buy for just $39.99. That's a saving of over 50% as the device usually retails for $99.99.

The handset comes in two variants: one with 512MB RAM, and the other with 1GB RAM – the latter has lesser battery life than the former. While the deal is available on both models, there is no shipping available for the 1GB variant, which means that you'll have to pick it up in-store.
