Purported live photos of HTC One M9 Plus made the rounds online. The yet to be revealed handset is expected to be a version of One M9 with beefed up hardware.
The unannounced device sports similar design as the regular HTC One M9 save for its main camera unit. The latter’s cutout is circular as opposed to squarish in the One M9 that already debuted.
HTC One M9 Plus might debut with two different chipsets – a MediaTek MT6795 model could cater to the Chinese market, while a Snapdragon 810 version will be sold elsewhere. The rest of the device’s rumored specs include 5.2″ QHD display, fingerprint scanner, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable memory.

Japan Display Inc. took the wraps off a WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) LCD display with in-cell touch integration. The high-end component is the first of its kind to enter mass production.
The newcomer will have a diagonal larger than five inches. It incorporates in-cell touch used in JDI’s “Pixel Eyes” technology. In-cell touch integration has been difficult to incorporate in high-resolution displays, so the new LCD panel is quite an engineering feat.
Viewing angles of the display will be larger than 160 degrees. Its surface luminance and NTSC ratio are 500cd/m2 and 85% respectively. The unit’s contrast ratio is 1500:1.
The component is certain to debut in a high-end smartphone at some point in the near future. JDI also made noise recently in a rumor about potential partnership with Apple.

The Moto E (2015) has been available in the US in unlocked form for a while, and today it's also gone on sale at a couple of carriers.
Actually, we're talking about Sprint and one of its prepaid brands – Boost Mobile, to be exact. Sprint's other prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, will launch the new Moto E on March 9 (which is this coming Monday).
At Boost, you can already grab a Moto E (2015) – online or in stores. You can only have the white model though. The black phone is available for Sprint Prepaid in Best Buy and Radio Shack stores.
The pricing is identical in all cases, the new Moto E goes for just $99.99, without any long-term contract requirement of course. Considering that this is the 4G-capable model which retails unlocked for $149.99, you're saving quite a bit of money if you get it from Boost, Sprint, or Virgin (it's a third cheaper). Then again, if you buy from one of these carriers, you'll need to use the handset on plans from that company, so there's that to keep in mind too.
This year's Moto E comes with slightly refreshed specs compared to its predecessor. It boasts a 4.5-inch qHD (560×940) touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, a secondary VGA camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, and a 2,390 mAh battery.
The 4G LTE iteration (which Sprint, Boost, and Virgin are selling) is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 SoC, sporting a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU. The phone runs Android 5.0…

Seguimos mostrándoos nuestras primeras impresiones de los dispositivos que hemos podido probar en el Mobile World Congress de Barcelona, y ahora es el turno del nuevo Lenovo Vibe Shot presentado el pasado lunes junto a otros productos de la firma china.
Se trata de un smartphone cuya principal razón de ser es su cámara fotográfica, que promete ser de lo mejor que existe en el mercado actual de dispositivos móviles Android, y que podríamos comparar, salvando las diferencias, a la propuesta de Panasonic con su Lumix CM1, que también hemos podido tocar en el congreso. Antes de nada, os dejamos con todas las especificaciones del Lenovo Vibe Shot:

Tal y como hemos visto en la tabla de especificaciones, estamos ante un smartphone que podríamos clasificar dentro de una gama media-alta, y es que está a medio camino entre ambas. Por una parte, tenemos características como una pantalla con resolución Full HD, o un total de 3 GB de RAM, lo que no es precisamente algo normal en la gama media, pero por otro lado, tenemos un chipset más cercano a esa gama que a la alta, el Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, que también hay que decirlo, rinde realmente bien.
Sin embargo, lo más interesante de este Lenovo Vibe Shot, y que desde luego se sitúa entre los mejores, es su apartado fotográfico, con una cámara principal de 16 megapíxeles, estabilizador óptico de imagen, y un interesante flash LED triple de doble tono. Para la cámara secundaria se reserva un sensor de 8 megapíxeles, y todo esto se complementa con botones físicos dedicados para la fotografía, uno para ajustar diferentes parámetros, y otro que funciona como obturador, además de un curioso dispositivo que se conecta a través del jack de 3,5 mm, y que nos sirve para tener flash en el frontal.
En cuanto al resto, encontramos una conectividad bastante completa, una gran batería de 2.900 mAh, y Android 5.0 Lollipop como sistema operativo, que aunque funciona muy bien, pasa bastante desapercibido bajo la capa de personalización de Lenovo.
