Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Android Lollipop rollout continues in even more countries. The update is already available for download in Europe and USA, but now even more markets board the Lollipop train.

As of today Galaxy Note 4 units across Brazil, the Baltic region, India and UAE are all getting Lollipop notifications. The OTA update weighs about 1GB, so make sure you have enough space for the download and unpacking process. We guess you should need at least 3GB just in case.

The new update will uplift your Galaxy Note 4 to Android 5.0 Lollipop and will offer you the latest version of TouchWiz UI, also inspired by Lollipop's Material design. There is a lot to discover in there, it will boost your performance and memory speeds, and hopefully will increase your battery life.

Xiaomi has reportedly teamed up with the Android Open Kang Project team to work on the MIUI 7 version. The AOKP members shared that they are all working with Xiaomi’s developers over the a new refreshed MIUI 7.

The MIUI 7 update is codenamed as MiKangy and will be based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop update. This new MIUI 7 is set to debut with the Mi 5 smartphone as mentioned in the blog post. But we do know that Xiaomi is not the fastest when it comes to software updates, so we don’t expect the phone to arrive any time soon.

For those who’re new to such alliances, AOKP is the after market ROM developer like Cyanogen. Just like YU Yureka and OnePlus teamed up with Cyanogen to introduce the CyanogenMod 11S based devices, the Xiaomi Mi5 will debut with MIUI 7 with special features and experience developed in tandem with AOKP team.

With the first quarter of 2015 behind us, Antutu was quick to publish its statistics for the current state of performance in the smartphone realm. The numbers leave little doubt who holds the crown, with the Samsung Galaxy S6 in a league of its own.

The report summarizes user-submitted data gathered from 160 countries over the course of the three months from January to March. Then the mean score is calculated for each device, but different chipsets within the same model get a separate listing.

The Exynos 7420 powered Galaxy S6 emerges victorious, a long stretch ahead of the best placed Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 contender, the HTC One M9. Interestingly, the identically equipped Galaxy S6 edge is a few percent behind its regular brother. The updated Plus version of the Galaxy S5, sporting a Snapdragon 805 chipset, takes the fourth, continuing Samsung's strong presence in the chart.

Highest ranked Chinese entrant is the Meizu MX4, powered by a MT6595 SoC, the only Mediatek in the Top 10. Motorola claims sixth and eight spots with Nexus 6 and Droid Turbo, both sporting a Snapdragon 805. The LG G Flex2 completes the S810's disappointing run, while the OnePlus One sneaks in 10th spot, proving that the S801 is still relevant.

GPU scores are a similar affair, although the superiority of the octa-core Mali T760 within the Exynos over the S810's Adreno 430 is less pronounced. Last year's offerings fall behind with each previous-gen proportionately lower in scores. The PowerVR 6200 inside the MT6595 proves no match even for the Adreno 330 in the Snapdragon 801.

Ever since HTC announced their latest flagship device, the One M9, at MWC 2015 the hype has been on about possible future models and variations of the unibody handset. A lot of rumors have been floating around about the One E9, which would be in keeping with HTC's current naming convention.

Another batch of leaks has been hinting at a bigger Plus version of both the upcoming One E9, as well as the One M9. But besides the obvious increase in size and screen real estate, the alleged One M9 Plus has also been pictured with a physical home button, an oddity to see on an HTC device. Today, a new set of leaked promotional banners might confirm this hypothesis. The images clearly show a device airily similar to the One M9 and bring special attention to its round home button.

The new control looks quite similar in shape to what Samsung has been using in its handsets for quite some time now. Logic dictates that HTC has reverted to a physical button so it can include a fingerprint reader in the M9 Plus to keep up with the competition.

We definitely can't be certain if the images are legitimate or simply of a modified One M9, but with all the talk of a Plus mode, the whole thing is starting to sound more and more plausible. As far as we know, the HTC One M9 Plus might debut with two different chipsets – a MediaTek MT6795 model could cater to the Asian markets, while a Snapdragon 810 version will be sold elsewhere. The rest of the device’s rumored specs include 5.2″ QHD display 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable memory.

With April 1 in our rear view mirror we don't doubt the legitimacy of new announcements, but this one had us raising our eyebrows. HTC revamped its 2014 flagship with a new camera and chipset and dubbed it the HTC One M8s.

The updated design keeps the dual-camera, but moves up to a 13MP sensor with 28mm lens and f/2.0 aperture. The video recording should be capped at 1080p@30fps (it's as high as the chipset can go), though we're not seeing an official confirmation just yet. The front-facing camera is a 5MP shooter with 1080p video capture.

As for the chipset, it's a Snapdragon 615. An octa-core processor with all Cortex-A53 cores, but half of them at a higher clockspeed for a sort-of big.LITTLE arrangement. There's also 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 graphics. Going by Galaxy A7 results (which is also powered by the S615) we can expect a big drop in gaming performance compared to the HTC One (M8). At least the CPU is a 64-bit one.

The rest of the phone is pretty much the same, essentially the HTC One (M8 Eye) with a different chipset. The Eye had a limited availability though. Anyway, this means a metal unibody, 5" 1080p screen and stereo speakers on the front. The storage is available only in 16GB and the battery is slightly bigger at 2,840mAh, matching the One M9.

The HTC One M8s is launching in the UK first at £380, close to the current price of the original HTC One (M8) model and well below the new HTC One M9. Other European countries will get the One M8s as well, but it's not clear if it will leave the old continent.

It looks like the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 made its way through the FCC. Yesterday, a mysterious Sony phone with model name – PM-0780 passed the FCC certification process.

The model name PM-0780 is not enough evidence that the device in question is Sony Xperia Z4. However, the width and height dimensions of the handset (5.75 x 2.87 inches) the same as those of Xperia Z3 (5.75 x 2.87 inches).

The FCC certification also briefly mentions the presence of a microSD card. Undoubtedly this smartphone will come loaded with Android 5.x Lollipop bearing Sony’s own lightweight UI.

ASUS as prepping up for the launch of the Zenfone 2 smartphone in India. As reported earlier, the Zenfone 2 will launch in the country in the middle of this month, on April 13.

As part of the plan, ASUS India’s official Facebook page shared a teaser image. The Taiwanese company also wrote under the image – "It’s April 1 and this flagship destroyer is for real."

Just like the first generation Zenfone, more than two variants of the Zenfone 2 will be introduced with either model featuring a 5.5" 1080p display or 5" 720p display. Similarly there will be difference in the mobile chipset and the available RAM.

On April 15, Huawei is set to announce the P8, its next flagship smartphone offering. But it looks more and more like we might also be introduced to another device on that occasion.

We're talking about the P8 Lite, a handset that should keep the general looks of the higher-end P8, but come with lesser specs – and a more affordable price tag, naturally.

Huawei P8 Lite renders

So far we've seen the purported P8 Lite getting certified for sale in China by TENAA, and that process resulted in a few low-quality images of the smartphone. Now though we're treated to what are said to be official press renders for the P8 Lite, which you can see above (click the thumbnails for full size pics).

The renders reportedly originate at an unnamed European distributor working with Huawei. That said, they could also be nothing more than fan-made renders based on those aforementioned TENAA images, there's no way of knowing right now.

Anyway, as you may have noticed, they show a metal body for the phone, and two color versions – though there may be more of course.

Alongside the pictures, the source of this leak tells us that the P8 Lite will have dual-SIM support and a price tag of €250 (sans contract, obviously).
