The G Stylo and Leon, which were made official by LG in April and February this year, respectively, will be available for purchase from T-Mobile starting May 20, according to a report from TmoNews.

It's worth mentioning that the G4 will go on sale on T-Mobile only after May 25 – the magenta carrier is currently running an exclusive preview program for the device which runs through that date. This means that the G Stylo and Leon will be available on the carrier before the flagship.

The update to Android 5.1 Lollipop is finally arriving for the original HTC One Google Play Edition. This is happening more than a month after the same OS version rolled out to the newer HTC One (M8) GPE.

The update is making its way to One GPE devices out there over-the-air, which means it's going to take at least a few days until it reaches every single phone. If you're feeling impatient, you can hit the Source link below for a manual download of the OTA, but keep in mind that in order to flash it you'll need to have S-OFF on the bootloader. If you don't know what that is, perhaps it's best to just wait for that notification to pop up.

The update file is around 280MB in size, and it takes the One GPE from Android 5.0.1 to Android 5.1 and build LMY47O.

You may have noticed that this isn't Android 5.1.1, which right now is the absolute latest version of the OS, but so far no cellular-capable Nexus or GPE device has received that. AT&T has announced that it's starting the rollout of the Android Lollipop update for its version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 today. This comes around six weeks after the update made its way to Galaxy Tab S 10.5 units sold unlocked (not by carriers).

As usual, keep in mind that these rollouts are staged, so you may have to wait a few days until your particular tablet receives the notification. You need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network to download the update file, as it's around 1.1GB in size.

If you want to manually check for the availability of the update, you can do so by going to Settings > General > About Device > Software Update.

After having installed the new release, you'll be running Android 5.0.2 and build LRX22G.T807AUCU1BOD4.

The update comes with everything that's new in Lollipop, and in Samsung's interpretation of Google's latest Android version. So you get the new UI, revamped notifications, new lock screen, updated Quick settings, new animations, and Device protection (for lost or stolen tablets).

As the rumor has it, the Meizu MX5 is going to premiere at a press event on June 30, but this is yet to be confirmed by the manufacturer. And while we are waiting for some official news on the flagship we saw the Meizu MX5 leak with specs, live pictures and even some (dreamy) bezel-less renders.

The Meizu MX5 is rumored to pack a 5.5" Quad HD display and run on a MediaTek top of the line chipset. There is no specific info if the Meizu will opt for the MT6795 Helio X10 chip with an 8-core processor or the newly announced MT6769 Helio X20 powerhouse with a 10-core processor.

Today we got some nice live pics, which confirms the screen size will be indeed about 5.5 inches and there is a good chance we'll see a fingerprint scanner on the Home key. The back of the device is a removable plastic piece, according to the source of the leak. There is no info on the camera resolution but previous rumors reported a 41MP (!) unit.

Previous Meizu smartphones had 16:10 displays, while the Meizu MX5 is purported to pack a 16:9 screen. Of course, this is suggested by the live pictures from today only.

Samsung has started rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge that brings several stability and performance improvements as well as new features.

Samsung's latest flagships, the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge, might have taken the market by storm in most countries, but it's a different story altogether in Japan, where sales have largely been sluggish.

According to a report from Japanese market research firm BCN, the S6 came in at number 30 in the country's smartphone weekly sales rankings from April 27 to May 3, while the Edge variant ranked 26th.

As for the reason, it is being said that the lacklustre sales in Japan are in part due to a strong demand of western products in the country – six out of the top 10 smartphones in Japan are from Apple. Plus, the recent disputes between Japan and South Korea (Samsung's home country) have only added to the problem.

It's worth mentioning that the flagships do not carry the Samsung logo in Japan, with the company opting to co-brand with local carriers…
