‘Battleborn’ Review, Day 2: Are Console Players Ready For This?

Battleborn is unquestionably ambitious. Where Overwatch tries to adapt the “hero” concept of League of Legends into something console players will feel more comfortable with, Battleborn commits wholeheartedly to the minutiae of the MOBA. Someone looking for a new system to dive into here will find a lot to love — someone looking for a relaxing game to play for a little bit or pick up sporadically will find this one a little more difficult to get their minds around. It will be interesting to see how it does: are console players ready for something like this? Smite on Xbox One has paved the way somewhat, but nothing quite on this scale has happened yet. Time will tell.

gNewSense 4.0 está en la calle

gNewSense 4.0 está en la calle, una versión polémica de este sistema operativo 100% libre, ya que está basado en el viejo Debian 7

Los desarrolladores de gNewSense han anunciado la disponibilidad de una nueva versión de su sistema operativo, es decir, que ya tenemos gNewSense 4.0.

Esta versión trae un poco de polémica porque los desarrolladores decidieron basarlo en una distribución algo obsoleta, es decir, en Debian 7, algo no ha levantado simpatías entre muchos usuarios, a los cuales les parece absurdo que se utilice una versión ya considerada antigua.

Si no conoceías gNewSense, es un sistema operativo algo diferente, el cual está basado tanto en Ubuntu como en Debian(cada versión se basa en uno de ellos).  Este sistema operativo es conocido no por estar basado en Ubuntu o Debian, sino que es conocido por ser un software 100% libre, sin ningún tipo de software privativo.

El sistema operativo gNewSense nació como una idea de Mark Shuttleworth y Richard Stallman en una conferencia acerca del software libre. Esta idea, que inicialmente se iba a llamar GNUbuntu, fue puesta en práctica inicialmente por Paul O´Malley y después por Brian Brazil, anunciando la primera versión estable en Noviembre del año 2006.

Este sistema operativo al ser 100% libre tiene características especiales, como por ejemplo que no tiene ningún tipo de software privativo en el mismo, siendo todo lo que tiene 100% de código abierto. También vienen preinstaladas algunas aplicaciones esenciales para trabajar, por supuesto todas ellas 100% libres.

Lo que quiero decir es que gNewSense es ideal si buscas las ventajas del sistema operativo Debian(con escritorio Gnome), pero eres un purista del Software libre y no quieres usar nada que no sea 100% libre.

En mi opinión, se debería haber usado Debian 8 como base, ya que Debian 7 está ya algo obsoleto y solo le quedan 2 años de soporte, ya que finaliza en el año 2018.

New Samsung Gear Fit 2 renders leak showing three color versions

At this point it’s pretty much a given that Samsung will launch the Gear Fit 2 in the coming weeks or months. The fitness tracker that’s going to be the successor to the original Gear Fit from 2014 has first been leaked last month, followed yesterday by an image of it spotted hanging out on an official Samsung website.
