Yet more alleged cases for the Sony Xperia Z4 have leaked, this time including semi-transparent cases and flip cases. A separate rumor casts doubt on this and recent leaks about the Z4, saying that what we are seeing is merely a revamped Z3.

The smartphone would be called Sony Xperia Z3 Neo (similar to Sony Ericsson's Neo apparently) and it's slated for a launch in May/June. The real Xperia Z4 is said to be unveiled at IFA Berlin this September or perhaps in November.

HTC recently unveiled one One M8s, upgrading its last year's model and Samsung usually releases revamped versions of its Galaxy S flagships (labeled LTE-A or Plus). So it's not without precedent, but it sounds like Sony may be going back to the two flagships a year schedule, except with a different naming scheme.

Yes, the label on the pink cases states "For Sony Z4" though case makers are not exactly privy to what the company is planning beyond the dimensions and shape of its upcoming products.

Huawei is finding a hard time keeping the upcoming P8 flagship under wraps. The handset went as far as showing up in live images a few days ago and now a promotional poster has been leaked revealing its color options.

Apparently the smartphone will be available in a choice of 4 colors, with black, white, silver and gold models pictured. The black bar on the top of the smartphone's rear, at least on the gold model, does not look like a particularly stylish design decision though.

The poster is yet another confirmation of the smartphone's premium build showing the slim 6.6mm profile and extensive use of metal. The smartphone is set to pack a proprietary Kirin 935 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 5.2-inch FullHD display.

What it doesn't disclose is whether the smartphone will have a fingerprint reader of any sort. Previously leaked cases suggested a rear mounted unit, much like on the Ascend Mate7, but TENAA certification ruled that out and the latest rumor is that the feature will be implemented in the tiny power button on the side.

The Huawei P8 is set to debut tomorrow, so the wait is almost over, and we'll soon have official word on all the uncertainties in terms of the flagship's design and features.

Gresso, the US company that become famous for its luxury mobile devices, has now decided to stud into Apple territory. The latest piece of opulent tech it added to its portfolio is the iPhone 6, but a version complete with exclusive materials, like titanium and 18K gold.

The iPhone 6 by Gresso bears pretty much the same visual style as the manufacturer's recent Regal Android line and also employs most of the same materials and crafting techniques.

Looking at the photos, most of the customization on the Apple device has been done to the back, while the front glass and button have been left unchanged.

The phone comes in three hand-crafted flavors. The G1 features a titanium case and 64GB of onboard memory, while the more-expensive G2 and G3 have a black PVD coating and 128GB of storage. All three feature an engraved logo and unit number, ranging from 1 to 999 for each of the models. In the G1 it is placed on top of a titanium plate, in the G2, it is made of 18K white gold and the G3 gets it in yellow gold.

Gresso refers to the design as "Luxury Minimalism" and frankly, we have seen a lot weirder and questionable attempts at bringing luxury to a handset. The US company also boasts improved durability in the handcrafted devices. Directional polishing is courtesy of a single craftsman and upwards of 4 hours of manual labor.

HTC has announced three new smartphones in the Indian market. The first is the very new HTC One M9+ that was revealed very recently. The M9+ is the bigger brother of the M9 and has a larger 5.2-inch Quad HD display, fingerprint sensor on the front, and 20 megapixel rear camera with Duo Camera feature. It also runs on the new 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor with an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz and has a 2,840mAh battery. Other than that the two phones are similar.

The E9+ will be the cheaper variant of the M9+. It has a larger 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 3GB RAM, 20 megapixel camera on the back but without the Duo Camera, UltraPixel front camera, and BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It has 16GB internal storage as opposed to the 32GB on the M9+ and the Xelio X10 processor is clocked at 2.0GHz instead of 2.2GHz. The battery is 2,800mAh. Another difference between the two is that while the M9+ is made entirely out of metal, the E9+ has plastic on the back but a metal frame around the side.

The Desire 326G has a 4.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor (unspecified), 1GB RAM, 8GB memory with microSD support, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, and 2,000mAh battery. The Desire 326G will have dual SIM support.

BLU Win HD LTE quietly arrived on the shelves of the Microsoft Store. The newcomer is a significantly updated variant of last year’s BLU Win HD.

In addition to 4G LTE connectivity, the BLU Win HD LTE features a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. The latter marks a significant improvement over the Snapdragon 200 found in the non-LTE BLU Win HD.

Less than a week after it released iOS 8.3 to the general public, Apple released iOS 8.4 beta to registered developers. The new firmware brings a redesigned Music application to the Cupertino giant’s mobile platform.

The new Music app for iOS features an all-new, sleeker design, as well as MiniPlayer feature. The latter allows you to control playback while browsing to your music collection.

Recently added albums and playlists now appear on top of the user’s music library. Discovering music via iTunes Radio has also been made easier via hand-curated and featured stations.

The app’s Now Playing interface has been overhauled with larger artwork. Users can also see what song from their library is coming next.

Finally, the new Music for iOS has a Global Search option. It allows users to search for songs and iTunes Radio stations from anywhere within the app.

After a very slow start, Sony is now adding more and more devices to the Lollipop update list every other week or so. The company may have been late to the Lollipop game, but at least it's releasing new software at a decent pace.

The latest handsets to be graced with the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop are the Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact, Z3 Dual, and Z Ultra. The screenshot you can see on the left depicts the update notification received by Xperia Z1 Compact owners in Italy.

For that particular model the download size is 738MB, and you need to have at least 1.2GB of free space on your internal memory before attempting to update. The whole procedure should take around 20 minutes.

After applying the update you'll be on build version 14.5.A.0.242. Obviously, these details could slightly differ for the rest of the aforementioned devices, but the rollouts for all of them have started today.

Next week, Lollipop is headed to Sony's Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 (as well as their dual-SIM versions). After that, "in a few weeks time" the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, and Xperia Tablet Z will be updated.
