Google Fiber cable box will be updated to support Google Cast feature

Google Fiber is Google’s Gigabit internet service in the US that has slowly been expanding in markets all over the country. Fiber offers internet, cable TV, and home phone service with select markets and new markets being added and considered as new Fiber markets.

Because the provider is Google, a large provider of internet content, it thought that all Fiber boxes should be equipped with Chromecast features so customers don’t need to leave their Fiber experience to watch a YouTube video or to play a song on Spotify. Apple’s WWDC event to take place on June 13

Apple has sent press invitations for its annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) where the company announces new products, projects, software, hardware, computers and new features for its existing products.
