Down through the years, US venture capital financing has resulted in some major successes, including the likes of Intel, Google and Twitter. VC investment is heavily concentrated across several industrial sectors, according to a recent report from Martin Prosperity. In fact, America’s top five industries receiving VC capital account for 76.3 percent of all VC investment nationwide, some $25 billion.

Why Electronic Medical Records Are Not Patient-Centric

Current information technology is lacking an efficient and comprehensive solution to everyday care for the healthcare provider and patient. For many physicians, there is a forced acceptance of the electronic medical record (EMR), but there is a general lack of satisfaction with the EMR by providers. I was once told that MD really stood for “Make Do” with what you have. That is certainly what I have had to do with the electronic record. Patients see the physician-patient relationship transform, with a computer that takes time away from the patient. This results in a skewed patient encounter causing more time to be spent entering extraneous data than having direct patient interaction.

Amazon Tops Indian E-Commerce Market In Web Traffic

Amazon has been operating in the e-commerce market in India since 2013, and has grown impressively in the last three years. It is the third largest e-commerce platform in the country, after Flipkart and Snapdeal, in terms of Gross Merchandise Value. However, it has now overtaken these rivals in overall web traffic, including both web and mobile.
