Marshmallow update starts hitting Rogers Galaxy Note 4

Inline with its updated schedule, Canadian carrier Rogers has finally started rolling out the Marshmallow update to Samsung Galaxy Note 4 units on its network. The update, which weighs in at around 1.5GB, brings along Android version 6.0.1.

It’s worth mentioning that other major carriers in Canada, including Bell, Telus, Wind, and SaskTel have already pushed out the update to Note 4 units on their networks.

ArchStrike es el nuevo nombre que recibirá el viejo ArchAssault, una distribución basada en ArchLinux pero modificada para penetración y seguridad

El famoso sistema operativo de hacking ético ArchAssault ha sufrido un lavado de cara, ya que a partir de ahora se va a conocer con el nombre de ArchStrike.

ArchStrike es una versión modificada del sistema operativo Arch Linux, una distribución que ha sido modificada para incluir herramientas de penetración y seguridad, con el objetivo de comprobar la seguridad de redes y equipos informáticos y realizar hacking ético.

El sistema operativo ArchStrike destaca por ofrecer más de 1400 herramientas de penetración y seguridad, entre las cuales tenemos algunas muy famosas como aircrack-ng,dumpzilla o nmap entre muchas otras. Tenéis el listado de todas las herramientas que ofrece pinchando en este enlace.

Bajo este nuevo nombre, ArchStrike promete ser aún mejor de lo que era ArchAssault, ofreciendo entre otras cosas más seguridad, ya que esta distribución también está destinada a luchar contra la gente que atenta contra el anonimato en internet y la libertad de expresión, algo que hacen grupos como Anonymous.

Con esta distribución vas a poder hacer de todo, desde comprobar si tu clave Wi-Fi es segura, hasta comprobar si tu servidor web está bien protegido contra ataques, pasando por otras funciones como navegar de manera anónima a través de Internet.

Esta distribución compite directamente con Kali Linux, la cual hoy en día es la distribución reina en el tema de la penetración y seguridad(como en su día lo fue su predecesor Backtrack). ¿Podrá ArchStrike arrebatarle la corona a Kali Linux como rey de la seguridad Linux?.
