First Solar , the largest U.S. solar panel manufacturer, is expected to publish its Q1 2016 earnings on April 27th. We expect the company’s performance to improve on a year-over-year basis, driven by higher power plant sales, as well as lower module and balance of system costs. Meizu Pro 6 easily taken apart, extensive cooling found inside

The folks over at it168 took apart the Meizu Pro 6 and found few obstacles along the way (so repairs should be easy), plus tons of thermal films and coatings.

The initial disassembly is easy-peasy. Undo two screws, take out the card slot and pop out the screen. Be careful, though, two cables connect the screen to the rest of the phone.

Digging in further, it168 found a metal plate that helps spread out the heat from the Helio X25 chipset. Additionally, there’s a graphite thermal film over the chipset to further facilitate cooling.

The One lives on – HTC One S9 is official with a 5-inch FullHD display and Helio X10 SoC

HTC went out and threw a curve ball by launching a smartphone no one was expecting. A couple of weeks after we were treated to the proper flagship HTC 10, we now have the One S9.

A unit less than the current top-end number, the new smartphone also gets to keep the One moniker, joining the One M9, A9, E9, X9, with a plus here and there and a Supreme Camera on top.

As a member of the previous generation it also has similar styling to the M9 – the bold chamfer on the 10’s back is nowhere to be found. In fact, it’s very much impossible to tell the S9 apart from the M9 by looking at two…

iPhone 7 Leak Reports A Major Change Is Coming To The Home Button

Several rumors have been surfacing about the next iPhone — which is expected to be called iPhone 7 —  such as a dual-lens camera on the larger version, the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, the addition of a second speaker at the bottom of the devices, waterproof and dust-proof ratings and a Smart Connector. Back in October 2015, Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray told Barron’s that the home button on the iPhone could be eliminated in favor of a digital button controlled by 3D Touch. And now, a new report from supply chain sources in China told DigiTimes that the iPhone 7 devices will have a touch-sensitive digital button instead of the traditional physical button separated from the display, making the front of the device completely flush.
