Google Play Games se actualiza con login automático y Gamer ID
Más o menos a principios de año os explicábamos que Google había tomado la decisión de hacer unos cambios bastante grandes en cuanto a la Play Games, y sobretodo concerniendo a lo que tenía que ver con tener que identificarse cada dos por tres en la cuenta de Google+. Precisamente lo que se quería era que los juegos de esta plataforma se abrieran con una identificación automatizada, sin requerir la posesión de una cuenta de Google.
Además, también se habló sobre los Gamer IDs personalizables, algo que en realidad quedó en un baúl hasta la propia presentación de los mismos en Febrero. Lo importante es que si estabais cansados de esperar, por fin vais a poder disfrutar de estas dos grandes utilidades en Play Games.
Google Play Games se actualiza por fin con los Gamer ID y el acceso directo a los juegos
Lo primero que queremos destacar, al igual que han hecho en otros lugares como Android Authority,** es el hecho de que el login a la cuenta sea por fin automático**. Todos recordaréis la insufrible pesadilla que es querer acceder a un juego, esperar a que se cargue el cuadro de Google Play y tener que identificarse en él antes de empezar a jugar. Vamos, casi que preferimos morir unas 300 veces en Dark Souls.
Con esta nueva forma de identificación automática se han terminado los problemas de espera y la necesidad, por lo tanto, de tener que acceder sí o sí con Google+. A partir de ahora la forma de autenticarse en el juego será con el Gamer ID personalizado, ¡sin más!
Estos Custom Gamer ID están disponibles para todo el mundo. Ahora no necesitarás utilizar tu nombre completo, sino simplemente crearte el nickname que más te guste. Sólo tendrás que descargar la actualización de Google Play Games para poder empezar a navegar por el perfil de jugador y personalizarlo a tu manera. Además dispondrás de hasta 40 avatares distintos a escoger, los cuales podrán ver aquellos amigos que tengas agregados.
Con este update se termina una de las etapas que seguramente pocos de los más jugones quieran recordar. Por fin se estará libre de tener que autenticarse siempre, y además de tener que disponer de una red social. ¿Qué os parece a vosotros esta actualización?
