In the film Fantastic Voyage, a submarine crew is shrunk to microscopic size and venture into the body of an injured scientist to repair the damage to his brain. I wonder if Dr. Neil Martin has seen the film? Dr. Martin is the chair of neurosurgery at UCLA. Dr. Martin and his team are working with a technology developed by a company called Surgical Theater to use VR headsets to let surgeons to journey inside their patients’ brains.

Mesosphere, a San Francisco-based startup has announced that it is open sourcing its core offering, the data center operating system, DC/OS. Formerly known as DCOS, this software is designed to treat multiple machines running in a data center as one powerful server. Based on the proven distributed computing framework called Apache Mesos, DC/OS removes the complexity of managing distributed workloads running on platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and even Docker.

Or, in other words, the Robin’s 13MP camera posted an 81 overall score on DxO Mark. The reviewers praised the one-of-a-kind smartphone for detail preservation in both daylight and low light, and for its vivid color reproduction. “A standout performance for autofocus” too, rated at a solid 90. Hoy les quiero presentar una muy sencilla aplicación gratuita para Android, la cual va a ayudarse de la pantalla de nuestro terminal Android para simular el LED de notificaciones y notificarnos de nuevos mensajes, llamadas perdidas o lo que consideremos oportuno, en terminales que carecen del citado LED de notificaciones.
La aplicación que responde al nombre de NoLED simplemente, la vamos a poder descargar desde el Play Store de Google sin cargo alguno, y como veis en el vídeo adjunto de la cabecera de este post, es una muy buena manera de simular el LED de notificaciones, mediante la activación de la pantalla de nuestro Android para no perdernos ninguna notificación de importancia.
NoLED, desde su aplicación de carácter completamente gratuito, nos ofrece simular la funcionalidad del LED de notificaciones de los terminales Android, en terminales que carecen de este componente, con la simple activación de la pantalla de nuestro dispositivo cada vez que recibimos una nueva notificación entrante.
Además de encender la pantalla de nuestro Android cada vez que recibimos una notificación entrante, tan solo por unos segundos para no purgar en exceso la batería de nuestro terminal, NoLED también nos ofrece la posibilidad de cambiar el color de la notificación según la aplicación desde la que la recibamos, así como que se nos muestre en forma de un simple punto en la pantalla de nuestro Android, o en forma de un colorido icono, al que de igual manera vamos a poder seleccionar el color de la notificación entrante.
También NoLED desde los ajustes de la propia aplicación para Android, nos ofrece la posibilidad de filtrar tan solo las aplicaciones que queremos tener activa a modo de notificación LED, o la posibilidad de poder interactuar con los iconos de las citadas notificaciones entrantes mediante una simple pulsación larga y saltándonos la pantalla de bloqueo de nuestro Android.
Sin duda alguna, NoLED nos ofrece una manera diferente de interactuar con las notificaciones recibidas en nuestro Android, una manera diferente para no perdernos ninguna notificación importante aunque no tengamos un terminal que incorpore el citado LED de notificaciones.
