BlackBerry Vienna, BB’s second Android phone, appears in leaked renders

It was only days ago that the BlackBerry Priv was officially released, and now images of what may be BlackBerry’s next Android phone have surfaced.

Renders of a device called the BlackBerry Vienna — likely a codename, like Venice was to the Priv — have made their way online courtesy of CrackBerry. The images show a candybar-style smartphone with what looks to be a large screen and a physical keyboard as well as physical navigation buttons. There are also some buttons on the sides, with the left side likely housing the power/lock button and the right side being home to volume buttons as well as a convenience key.

Unfortunately, there aren’t really any spec details available for the Vienna right now. It’ll be interesting to see if BlackBerry really does bring the Vienna to market looking like this, though. It’s certainly been a long while since we’ve seen an Android phone with this form factor, but BlackBerry’s got plenty of experience making phones like this, and this design could bring more BlackBerry fans over to the Android side. We’ll just have to wait and see.

iPad Pro Reviews: Apple’s Supersized Tablet Is Awkward And Amazing

Apple’s 12.9 inch iPad Pro is now on sale, and the critical reception to the device has been mixed yet positive. Perhaps replicating the narrower ‘use-case’ scenarios of the oversized tablets, many reviewers have found a piece of hardware that is technically competent but not as much of an all-rounder as a smartphone, smaller tablet, or ultra-portable laptop.

SENNA: The Social Entertainment App Creating A Mobile Hub For Hip Hop Culture

While working as a developer at BET, self-taught engineer Adrian Grant recognized a growing movement of memes, viral videos, and other Hip Hop-inspired social content that was swiftly taking over social media. As a former Platform Manager at IA Ventures, a $155MM Fund dedicated to investing in companies that use data to create competitive advantage, Grant understood the opportunity and long-term potential of engineering a space specifically for this multicultural, millennial audience. Initially looking to break ground by building a platform that would bring this content and its creators to the entertainment network, Grant noticed the need to create an outlet specific to this shift that could live on its own and be a go-to source for these social content experiences. It was from that foresight that SENNA was born.
