Dungeon Hunter 5 recibe nuevo contenido, misiones y eventos en su última actualización

Aunque el género de los RPG no es el más indicado para Android dado su control táctil y sin contar con que podemos conectar algunos gamepad para disfrutar, encontramos grandes títulos muy variados entre ellos como Exiles o Dungeon Hunter 5, de los títulos más conocidos en plataformas móviles y que mejora a cada entrega anterior.

Este aclamado título ha premiado a sus fieles jugadores con una buena dosis de nuevo contenido, entre estos nuevas misiones y eventos que alargarán la experiencia dentro del juego e incluso la mejorarán.

A menudo se lanzan nuevos títulos en vez de añadir más contenido a los anteriores, pues es lo que ocurre con esta saga, que va por su quinta entrega y parecer ir a más. No siempre más es mejor, es algo que debería tener en cuenta.

Snow Blade

Este es el nombre definitivo para la nueva hornada de contenido que aterriza en Dungeon Hunter 5, donde implementa todo un nuevo sistema que permite a los jugadores unirse y formar grupos para asistir a los eventos programados, en los que pueden ganar premios exclusivos que de forma normal no son accesibles en el juego.

Los gremios desde ahora tendrán su emblema personalizado, para así destacar y lucir el logo de su casa, así como un nuevo chat dedicado para los jugadores puedan conversar entre ellos de forma privada.

Otra novedad es el diseño de las fortalezas, que desde ahora son mucho más personalizables y se pueden aplicar trampas para formar una fuerte defensa y evitar que el resto de jugadores se acerquen a ella.

En cuanto a la equipación, han añadido 11 nuevas armaduras y otras 11 armas, para así poder disfrutar de las tres nuevas misiones para un solo jugador que ya están disponibles.

En resumidas cuentas, hay nuevo contenido para cazadores de recompensas, nuevas salas para las fortalezas con trampas, eventos diarios, nuevas criaturas, armas y armaduras, desafíos, misiones y por supuesto corrección de errores y estabilidad mejorada.

The Top 10 trending phones of week 26

Another week, another top ten chart summing up your interest in the devices in our database. Certain trends have started emerging, but it still never ceases to surprise us how huge a difference major news events, sales and launch promotions can make to the chart, often in unforeseeable ways.

The past week wasn't really that eventful in terms of new device announcements, but the rumor mill has been overflowing with intriguing stories, which have naturally stirred-up things in the popularity list as well.

Starting at the top of the list, we once again find the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. The device has long been present on the list, but only recently did it manage to dethrone the long standing champion – Galaxy S6. Actually, this is now the third week in a row and with a difference of over 28000 hits between the top two spots, the budget phone takes home yet another victory.

While Samsung's flagship still sits at the runner-up position, followed by the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML. At number four, we find a rather peculiar new entry in the face of the Xiaomi Mi 4. The year old handset has not only managed to appear on the chart out of nowhere, but has also shot straight to the reputable fourth position, just edging out the iPhone 6. This is quite an achievement and could perhaps be attributed to a recent price drop for the Mi 4 in India.

Going further down the list, we find the aforementioned iPhone 6, sitting where we left it last week. The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy S6 have switched places – sitting at sixth and eight position, respectively.

Right between them, at seventh place, we find yet another odd new entry – the Lenovo K3 Note. Also, not a frequent visitor on the chart, the phone has managed to pull off quite a performance to get all the way to number seven. But, again, we believe there is a logical explanation for this sudden spike in interest – namely the phone's recent launch in India with a sub $200 price tag.

The bottom of the chart once again holds some interesting and affordable devices. This week these are the Galaxy E7 and Galaxy J1. Again, out with the old, as the Galaxy S4 has vacated the ninth position it held last week.

Echa fuego por la boca con el adictivo FireWhip

Si hemos tenido un buen fin de semana en lo referente a distintos videojuegos con varias categorías, ahora es el momento para uno de esos en los que echamos una partida rápida, luego otra y así casi sin parar de viciar hasta que nos duelan los ojos. De lo que es manejar a una tropa de combatientes, un nuevo “Clash of clans” de Gameloft o lo que es montar en una moto del Mundial de Superbikes, ahora podréis echar un poco de chile en vuestra lengua para lanzar llamaradas a todo lo que os rodee.

Porque si, de esto trata FireWhip, de quemar todo lo que nos rodea. FireWhip es la apuesta de un desarrollador que tiene una gran idea entre manos y que la ha completado con este nuevo videojuego para Android que dispone al usuario de todo el contenido sin publicidad con un único pago. Así que prepárate para tener el extintor cerca porque vas a provocar muchos fuegos desde la pantalla de tu smartphone.

La cosa está que arde

FireWhip nos trae uno de esos gameplay sencillos pero que tanto atrapan y que nos mantienen durante horas divirtiéndonos con lo simple que parece el ir lanzando llamaradas como si fuéramos alguno de los dragones de la Khaleesi. Vamos que podemos llegar a tener el complejo de que nos creemos un dragón y que pronto echaremos a volar sobre los cielos.

Por suerte esto no es así, y de momento FireWhip nos mantiene en tierra girando sobre nosotros mismos para que las llamaradas recorran el mayor espacio posible y se lleven por delante a todos los incautos enemigos que quieren arremeter contra nosotros.

Y es que también debemos de tener cuidado para no quemarnos a nosotros mismos cuando realicemos esos giros explosivos mediante el buen uso del látigo de llamas que surge de nuestro brazo. Y en definitiva esto es más o menos FireWhip.

Los enemigos arderán a tu paso

Lo difícil de FireWhip consiste en saber gobernar lo suficientemente bien nuestros poderes con el fuego, para que así podamos quemar los distintos enemigos que saldrán a nuestro paso. Por cierto, que algunos serán bien cobardes, aunque eso sí, nos encontraremos a los enemigos especiales o jefes que nos pondrán las cosas un poco más difícil.

No estamos ante una maravilla de juego y en si recoge mucho lo que fue Flappy Bird, por lo que se le puede achacar que no tenga más variedad de enemigos y la cosa sea simple, pero esto es lo que buscamos a veces en un videojuego para echar una partida de unos cinco minutos.

Lo dicho, un interesante y adictivo videojuego bien simple que se deja jugar para echar un rato de ocio mientras esperamos en la parada del autobús. Por un precio de 1,09€ lo tendrás esperándote en la Play Store con todo el contenido sin publicidad.

Android 5.1 soak test started for Moto X (2014) on Verizon in US

The first and second gen Moto X are about to get their Android 5.1 Lollipops update in the US and the rollout is expected to start next week. Carriers have already launched the the soak-test for the Moto X (2013) and Moto X (2014), which already got the Android 5.1 update in several other regions.

David Schuster, senior director for software product at Motorola Mobility, stated that the soak-test of the Android 5.1 update for the Moto X (2014) owners on Verizon network has commenced. For now, the firmware is only available to a closed test group. Once they are pleased with its performance, the soak-test will seed to all Moto X owners on…
