I find hard to build villages the legit way via /r/Minecraft

I find hard to build villages the legit way

Hi!

Usually, if I need plenty of villagers for trading purposes, I build something ugly with a huge amount of doors and I break it afterwards.

Now if I want to build a proper living village, like a nice little area with several houses and nice decorations, something non-technical, it is really hard because of the 3 doors per villager requirement. Why not 1 door = 1 villager? Seriously, that would be nice.

Currently, you need too many doors and get too few villagers, plus they all clog up in the same house instead of being properly spread.

When building a village simply for the aesthetics, my solution is to bring villagers (instead of having them breed on the place) and to break all the doors (to avoid cramming in one spot). That's a bit frustrating because villagers have a lot of potential and bring life to the world.

Anyone else struggling with this?
