Anyone recommend texture packs ?

Looking for a good texture pack, can't find any I like. I can't describe exactly what I'm looking for, so any ideas?

Update: I checked out all of your suggestions (thanks alot btw!!) and John smith is my favorite one, which im currently using. My second go-to is Woodpecker. Thanks for the responses, aswell i am still looking at all of your suggestions 🙂

Selecting Scale

I trying to decide on how to scale my builds to be more realistic. I am not looking to make like a photo-realistic build of a famous building, just a scale to work with in creative mode that strikes a balance between feeling spacious and not cavernous. I'm sure this is dependent on what is being built, but if there is a "general rule" people use when building multi-building areas, i'd love to hear it.
