Poll results: You can’t get enough of the Galaxy S7

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has no doubt been the star of the past month (or more, if you count all the rumors) and has now gotten plenty of affection from our readers as well. Last week’s poll aimed to find out where you stand on the subject, and looking at the results, Samsung has struck gold.

Three out of four voters hit the thumbs up on the Galaxy S7, or, if you insist on precision, positive feedback clocks in at 77%. Not exactly universal approval, but still about as warm a reception as Samsung could have hoped for.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge battery life (Exynos and Snapdragon)

We published our in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge earlier this week, and it was based on the Exynos version of the smartphone. We later got our hands on a Snapdragon version so we got a chance to compare the two in benchmarks, and now in battery endurance.

No matter the chipset, battery capacity of the Galaxy S7 edge is fixed at 3,600mAh – a generous amount. It is also a substantial increase over the S6 edge’s 2,600mAh, not to mention the S6 edge+, which has a 3,000mAh power pack and a larger 5.7-inch display. In light of that, even die-hard removable battery…

Top 10 trending phones of week 11

A funny week for our Top 10 trending chart, indeed. Not much in terms of new entries (the iPhone 5s marks a return, last here in week 6), but the list has been seriously reordered.

Bottom to top, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) has slipped two spots into 10th, keeping big bro A7 (2016) out. Not that it was really that close of a fight, looking at the numbers. It’s the iPhone 5s we already mentioned that occupies 9th, with more than 30% more hits than the current iPhone 6s.

The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is in 8th, and it’s our latest review subject – make sure you check that out if you’ve…
