Just last week Logitech announced its plans to launch a new sub-brand called Logi. At that point, the company only said this would be used for lifestyle products, without naming one.
Today though the first three Logi-branded products have been unveiled, and all three are iPad cases featuring drop protection.
They make up the Logi Blok series. The Logi Blok Protective Shell for the iPad Air 2 and all iPad Mini models comes with a screen protector and a simple and sleek design. It is offered in black, red/violet, and teal/blue, for $39.99.
The Logi Blok Protective Case for the iPad Air 2 adds an any-angle stand to the mix, which works within a 50-degree range. As you'd expect, when it's closed the stand is basically a screen cover. This case is out in the same colors as the aforementioned shell, but the price is higher – $69.99, to be exact.
Finally we have the Logi Blok Protective Keyboard Case, which includes a wireless detachable keyboard that doubles as a screen cover. It's available for the iPad Air 2 only. It still has the stand of the Protective Case. The keyboard has a dedicated row of iOS shortcut keys. This product comes in teal/blue or black for $129.99.
All of these cases will be in stores in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and "select countries" in Europe starting in August. They all feature corners with "unique extra-absorbent polymers" which support and flex your iPad upon impact, apparently ensuring it can withstand drops from up to six feet high even on…

ZTE apparently wasn't done announcing smartphones this week after yesterday's unveiling of the Axon. While that particular model is destined exclusively for the US market, at least for now, the new Blade D6 will get a more international launch.
Traditionally ZTE has used the Blade sub-brand for mid-range offerings that are very good value for money. And while we can't comment on the latter in this case (since pricing information isn't available yet), the Blade D6 certainly fits the mid-range nicely.
It comes with a 5-inch 720p IPS touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, an 88-degree wide-angle 5 MP selfie snapper, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM functionality, and a 2,200 mAh battery.
It's powered by MediaTek's 64-bit MT6735 SoC with a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU and Mali-T720 GPU. You also get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The Blade D6 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop underneath ZTE's own MiFavor 3.2 UI.
The main attraction here seems to be the design. ZTE boasts that the handset has a high-grade 6013 aluminum alloy body, it's 6.95mm thin, and weighs 120g.
It will become available "over the next few months", and we'll see it first in Australia, Russia, and Japan. You'll get to choose from four color versions: pink, gold, gray, and…

The latest update to Pushbullet for Android enables full SMS support on your computer, through the same company's assorted Web interface or browser extension.
On your computer, Pushbullet has been showing you individual texts as they arrive on your phone even up until this point, while also letting you reply to them on the spot.
But from now on you get pretty much a full messaging experience on your computer – it's like your SMS app moved from your phone. You see all your conversations, and all the messages inside each of those.
You can even be in multiple conversations at the same time – clicking the arrow to the right of a person's name opens a chat window. Sending texts happens when you hit Enter after writing something.
Everything is synced to your phone, as you'd expect. And obviously the messages themselves are sent from your handset, so the people you communicate with won't know you're actually using a desktop app (or a browser…

Samsung's first round smartwatch is codenamed Orbis and will be sold as the Gear A. It will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 5, possibly on August 12.
This watch has been in the news quite a lot recently, with a few details about it having been revealed already, including what it brings to the table in terms of user interface and user experience.
Now though we get a full list of specs for the device too. It is said to be powered by an Exynos 3472 chipset with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and a 450MHz Mali-400 MP4 GPU. It will have 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 250 mAh battery.
As for sensors, you'll get a GPS, accelerometer, gyro, barometer, as well as a heart rate monitor. One version will have built-in Wi-Fi too (802.11n), including Wi-Fi Direct.
A new, special version of Tizen will be on board, featuring an interface designed specifically for the round screen. This, by the way, will sport 360×360 resolution. As for size, it might be 1.65", but that's not as clear at this point.
The Gear A's bezel ring will be used to control the UI, as seen in the image above. This element may affect how big the screen itself can be in order for the watch to reasonably fit as many people's wrists as…

Just as expected, Apple has refreshed its iPods today. The biggest changes have been made to the iPod touch, which now gets a new chipset and better cameras.
The new iPod touch has the 64-bit A8 SoC inside, just like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It also gets the M8 motion coprocessor for accurate tracking of physical activities. Furthermore, there's a new 8 MP rear camera in tow too, along with "an improved FaceTime HD camera" on the front. The screen is still a 4-inch affair though, no updates there.
The iPod touch supports Apple Music, the streaming service that was launched not long ago, since it runs iOS just like the company's iPhones and iPads. The revamped iPod touch starts at $199 if you're happy with 16GB of storage. If you want 32GB, you'll need to pay $249. For the 64GB model the price is $299. For the first time there is also a 128GB iPod touch on offer, yours for $399. All of these versions are already up for grabs from Apple's online store.
If you're a fan of the iPod nano or iPod shuffle, starting today you get three additional color variations: "space gray", silver, and…

AnTuTu is definitely among the most reputable mobile benchmarks, so their analysis always make for an interesting read. Now the company has officially tallied up a lot of recent test results and has come to the conclusion that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 are the most powerful smartphones in existence.
That is quite a grand proclamation to make, but if anyone has the numbers to back it up, it's AnTuTu. The enclosed chart was created after averaging a large base of user-submitted benchmark results.
This is the only effective way to eliminate odd results and find "true to life" values. According to it the Galaxy S6 takes the cake with a whopping 67,520 points on average, followed close by the S6 edge with 63,910. Third place is occupied by Xiaomi and particularly the Mi Note Pro.
This will certainly change shortly though and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 in the upcoming LG Nexus 5 (2015) is making a bold statement with an outrageous AnTuTu score of 85,530 points. So it seems we are in for yet another major leap forward in performance with the next line of flagship devices.
