Twitter's iOS app has received an update, bumping it to version 6.33. The update brings along a couple of new features, including support for interactive notifications and the ability to access saved drafts while composing a tweet.
The interactive notifications that the update brings "let you engage on Twitter while using other apps," the company says. The alerts now feature new buttons, allowing you to easily favorite or reply to a tweet – this is all thanks to the new APIs Apple introduced with iOS 8.
The version 6.33 also makes it easy for you to access drafts while composing tweets, something which you can do by tapping on the quill icon that appears above the typing field. The updated app is now available for download from the App Store.

Samsung has officially announced that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 13 at Lincoln Center in New York. The event will be live streamed on YouTube, the company confirmed.
Although there was no word on what the South Korean company will unveil at the event, the teaser image (shown above) accompanying the announcement clearly hints towards a device with curved display, presumably the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. In addition, the Galaxy Note 5 could also be announced as the Note series is also due for a refresh.
In case you've missed, both handsets have already posed in front of a camera, besides having their specifications…

While the next generation Moto G has been leaking a lot lately, we've seen a much smaller number of reveals about the Moto X (3rd gen), which is also due to be outed this year – perhaps even tomorrow, at Motorola's special event.
We have had quite a few instances in which pictures of the next Moto X got out – even live images not long ago. As for the specs, we now have a new list of those from a source of a lot of Moto-related stuff.
The Moto X (3rd gen) is said to have a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 21 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front snapper, and a 3,600 mAh battery. It will have a microSD card slot, and there will be a model with dual-SIM functionality too. It will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from day one.
Interestingly, this report contradicts a few previous ones when it comes to the display. So far we've been led to believe that this year's Moto X will sport a 5.2-inch QHD panel. But it looks like Motorola could have gone bigger, while keeping the resolution of last year's handset.
As for the battery, past mumblings had it at 3,280 mAh, but we assume nobody will complain if it's actually going to be a whopping 3,600 mAh. Even the main camera was said to be 16 MP at one point. Today's revelation comes with no information about RAM, but it's been rumored to be 4GB, and the SoC in charge could be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810.
One of the new things coming to the Moto X line in 2015 is allegedly going to be the color version you can see in the picture above. And there may also be a front-facing LED flash for perfect selfies in there.

The Moto G (3rd gen) is due to finally be made official at a special event tomorrow. That, however, doesn't mean we don't already know almost everything there is to know about it, thanks to a myriad of leaks and rumors we've seen over the past few weeks.
We've gotten the specs on several occasions (though certain things are still a mystery, for example how much RAM the base model will have), leaked renders, leaked hands-on images, as well as pricing information.
One thing that hasn't been talked about much is when exactly you'll be able to buy the Moto G (3rd gen). A leak from South America from a while back implied that it would go on sale on the day of its unveiling – namely, tomorrow. But that was it.
Now from the UK comes an image that's purported to be from the operator Three. It apparently contains a stock update communication sent by the operator to its employees.
As you can see, the Moto G is said to be launching on July 29, with stock of the device being sent to Three stores in advance of that, so there will be plenty of units to go around on the big day.
Keep in mind that this date could only apply to the UK. Other places may in fact get the Moto G a day earlier, while others still might wait for it some more.
This leaked image also tells us that Three will have Moto Maker vouchers for the new Moto G in stock on the same day. This means you'll get one of those vouchers from a Three store, then go online and configure your Moto G as you like it through Motorola's Moto Maker customization service, which will be available for a mid-range offering for the first time.
Furthermore, 200 Three shops will receive Moto Maker POS tablets, which are meant to demo the features of this…

Just a few hours ago we showed you a couple of live images portraying the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. These were then followed by a few details about the handset's specs, and now we're back with some more pictures.
Again, they're of the live, hands-on variety, clearly being provided by someone with access to a Note 5 prototype. Since we're quite late in its development, the final version of the phone will probably look exactly like this.
Just take into account that the Note 5 is inside a transparent case, because these images are from Chinese case maker Nillkin. Even so, it's pretty obvious that Samsung is going with the glass-metal design that it made famous with the S6 and S6 edge earlier this year.
Both the front and the back of the Galaxy Note 5 are made out of glass, whereas the frame is all metal. Once again we see the S Pen stylus locked into its special slot.
The camera and the LED flash are arranged in a similar fashion to what we've seen in the S6 siblings too. So it looks like the Note 5 will basically just be a bigger Galaxy S6 (though with an S Pen and all the added functionality and software for that), while the much-rumored and leaked Galaxy S6 edge+ will be a blown up version of the S6 edge (sans S Pen, which is probably why it lacks Note branding).
Both the Note 5 and the S6 edge+ should become official on August 12 or August 13. They might even share most, if not all of their hardware specs, according to the latest rumors on the matter.

The HTC One M9 has already received the update to Android 5.1 Lollipop – be it the developer version, or those sold by both Sprint and AT&T. This hasn't, however, been the case so far for T-Mobile's model of HTC's latest flagship smartphone.
Until today. The magenta carrier has announced that the new software is finally rolling out to the handsets it's sold. As always with such over-the-air updates, it may be a few days (or even weeks) before all One M9 units purchased from T-Mobile get the download notification, but at least it's on its way now.
Aside from the platform upgrade to Android 5.1, the new release brings with it some battery improvements, Google Wallet, as well as anti-theft functionality built into the OS. After applying the update, you'll be running software version 2.7.531.6.
To apply the 833MB update, you need to have at least 50% or higher battery left, and use a Wi-Fi connection for the download.

This evening (or tomorrow morning, depending on where you live), the OnePlus 2 will finally be fully revealed by the Chinese startup that created it. The event starts at 7 PM PT, but it looks like someone just couldn't wait any longer – and decided to give us some hands-on shots of the device.
These are clearly the real deal, since the handset in them looks just like the one that passed through TENAA recently. As you can see the OnePlus 2's fingerprint sensor will be underneath the screen, though it's still unclear if that's going to act as a Home button as well or not.
Moving on, we see a metal frame, a couple of speakers on the bottom side flanking the USB Type-C port, and the signature Sandstone Black finish on the back cover. This debuted with the OnePlus One last year, and it's got a texture not quite matched by any other smartphone. Like with its predecessor, this phone's back will be removable, though it remains to be seen how easy that operation will be.
The much-rumored dual-SIM support for the OnePlus 2 is confirmed through these images too. The camera has a dual-LED flash and a laser autofocus sensor. It's hard to estimate screen size from the pictures, but up until now we've only heard one thing about that – it will be the same 5.5" as in the OnePlus One.
The OnePlus 2 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset, aided by 4GB of RAM. On top of Android Lollipop, it will run the company's own Oxygen OS, which will apparently come with certain features of Android M already. To watch its official announcement, you'll need a special app OnePlus released for Android over the weekend.
