The sole purpose of DARPA’s Fast Lightweight Autonomy program is to create a drone that can, well, fly really fast on its own. Based on this recent video, it seems like they’ve figured out how to make it go fast, as well as navigate a crowded warehouse, but haven’t quite figured out how to combine the two.
