Ubuntu Budgie busca logotipo y wallpaper oficiales
Hace tiempo que sabemos que Ubuntu Budgie es un nuevo sabor oficial. Y desde entonces parece que todo el equipo y comunidad se han volcado en desarrollar una versión que esté a la altura del sabor oficial de Ubuntu.
A pesar de que la primera alfa ha sido omitida, los desarrolladores siguen trabajando en Ubuntu 17.04 y el equipo de Ubuntu Budgie no es una excepción. Al igual que el resto de sabores, la Comunidad creada entorno al nuevo sabor oficial está buscando un logotipo oficial y un wallpaper, elementos que toda distribución tiene.
El proceso no es fácil ya que quieren contar con toda la Comunidad, además han tardado en lanzar la votación ya que no había ningún desarrollador gráfico que pudiese crear alguna muestra. Tras haberlo encontrado, los usuarios ya tienen disponible las muestras para elegir el logotipo oficial así como el primer wallpaper de Ubuntu Budgie como sabor oficial.

Y si todo va como esta previsto, el próximo día 26 de enero ya tendremos una versión de desarrollo oficial de este nuevo sabor, una versión en el que ya podremos ver el nuevo logotipo así como el wallpaper, o al menos así se espera.
Aunque personalmente creo que lo más llamativo o deseado por todos los usuarios será ver que nuevas traerá el escritorio Budgie así como el sabor oficial. A los pocos días de oficializarse el sabor, los desarrolladores del Budgie Desktop afirmaron estar en contacto con los desarrolladores del sabor para incorporar todas las novedades del escritorio a las versiones de Ubuntu Budgie. Esto supone que Ubuntu Budgie 17.04 contará con la nueva versión de Budgie Desktop, algo que muchos usuarios del escritorio están esperando y de lo que aún no tenemos nada en concreto.
