Más de 2,500 cuentas de Twitter en todo el mundo, ‘hackeadas’: Norton
Unas 2,500 cuentas de Twitter han sido hackeadas en las últimas semanas, de acuerdo con la empresa de seguridad en línea Norton by Symantec.
Desde las cuentas afectadas se están publicando imágenes y contenido malicioso, con links que llevan a sitios pornográficos.
Algunos de los perfiles tienen más de 20,000 seguidores, incluido el periodista español Ignacio Escolar, el grupo de música electrónica Chromeo, el fallecido periodista David Carr y el comediante Azeem Banatwala.
Los hackers no solo compartían contenidos maliciosos, sino que cambiaron las imágenes, nombres y biografías de las cuentas, de modo que todo el perfil promocionara los sitios pornográficos.
Las cuentas de alto perfil ya han sido recuperadas por sus dueños. Para protegerse de esos ataques, la firma recomienda cambiar las contraseñas, reforzar la seguridad de tu cuenta y utilizar un administrador de contraseñas.
