Mark Zuckerberg está planeando hacer alguna construcción importante en su cuadra.
El CEO de Facebook presentó planes para derribar y reconstruir cuatro de las casas de los alrededores de su domicilio de Palo Alto.
Zuckerberg compró las casas en 2012 y 2013 por unos 43.8 millones de dólares (mdd), según estimaciones de Zillow. Su casa actual la adquirió en 2011 por 7 mdd.
Los planos de construcción indican que Zuckerberg tiene la intención de hacer las nuevas casas 20% más pequeñas que las del tamaño original.
En total, representan aproximadamente "la mitad de los metros cuadrados permitidos para las cuatro propiedades", de acuerdo con los planes presentados a principios de mayo. Tres de las cuatro propuestas son de un piso.
Para minimizar el impacto y la duración de la construcción, las cuatro propiedades se levantarán al mismo tiempo. Los equipos de arquitectos dicen que tratarán de proteger los árboles existentes.

Foxconn, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electronics, including Apple’s biggest money maker: the iPhone, has effectively replaced 60,000 human workers with automated robots who perform repetitive tasks.
This was reported to the South China Morning Post by representative of Foxconn’s manufacturing division, Xu Yulian, saying that the company “reduced employee strength from 110,000 to 50,000 thanks to the introduction of robots.”
