Huawei Honor V8 teardown reveals hardware similar to P9’s

Huawei Honor V8 went official two weeks ago and it’s one of the most interesting devices the company has outed lately.

The V8 is an all-metal smartphone with a 5.7″ IPS display, powered by the latest Kirin chipset, and featuring a dual 12MP camera setup on its back – one monochrome and one color sensor. Sounds familiar?

The difference with the P9, besides the screen estate, is that you can get the V8 with a 1080p display, or for the first time ever in a Huawei phone – with a Quad HD screen. Depending on the resolution Kirin 950 with 32GB storage or Kirin 955 with 64GB storage will be…

NASA’s OSIRIS-REx Spacecraft Prepared for Mission to an Asteroid

NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft is revealed after its protective cover is removed inside the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at Kennedy Space Center, on May 21, 2016. Reseña: Lenovo, entra con fuerza al mercado midrange en México con el K5

Lenovo busca recuperarse de un difícil año tras la compra de Motorola, cuyas ventas se redujeron un tercio, pese a que la marca supuestamente le ayudaría a convertirse en líder mundial de los smartphones.

Una de sus apuestas fuertes en el segmento es el equipo Lenovo K5, con un costo de 4,000 pesos mexicanos. Viene equipado con sonido Dolby Atmos que promete un audio “completo y envolvente dondequiera que vayas” y los acabados de aluminio que lo hacen lucir mucho más lujoso que su precio.

¿Podrá Lenovo recuperar terreno en el mercado de los smartphones tras sus caídas en ventas y el despido de más de 3,200 empleados el año pasado?
