‘Destiny:’ Trails Of Osiris Cancelled Due To Infinite Rockets Glitch

Trials of Osiris and The Iron Banner are Destiny’s endgame PvP, true contests for Guardians at the top of their game, competing for glory in the Crucible and delicious loot. Unless they were to become insane maelstroms of crisscrossing rockets constantly blowing people up. There’s an infinite ammo glitch going on in Destiny at the moment, where people have found a bug in the way the game handles the “cocoon” perk on the King’s Fall raid weapons that produces unlimited use of heavy and special weapons. Bungie has officially cancelled both Trials of Osiris and the Iron banner until the bug is squashed. Here’s Bungie community manager Deej:

Heavy Ammunition is a rare commodity in the Crucible, and with good reason! There are few defenses against a well-aimed Rocket that lands squarely at your feet. We limit the deliveries of purple crates to the battlefield to make those explosive moments the highlight of a match. When we learned that some Guardians had discovered a way to earn unlimited rockets, we knew it was time for a bug hunt. Rather than punish players for playing the game in a way we didn’t predict, we’ve been waging an investigation into our code. These things happen, so please don’t panic. We’re on the case – and we’ve slayed more dreaded bugs than these.

This is how it goes, and how it always will go: Bungie would never know about these bugs unless intrepid players found and exploited them, and the developer tends to do a good job of taking it in stride, fixing things, and treating the whole thing as one of Destiny’s most interesting metagames. It helps that the game modes are so separate that the developer can just shut something like Trials of Osiris down if it needs to address a problem. Deej continues:

How I think the New Magma Blocks should work via /r/Minecraft

How I think the New Magma Blocks should work

NOTE: I did post this on /r/minecraftsuggestions I don't think anyone really understood what I mean so I'm posting it here too.

My Idea is when you break the new magma block it will turn in to a lava source block rather than dropping, a normal block, This would work exactly like ice where if you break it with a silk pick you can get it as a block that you can move around easier, it would also make sense Just looking at the texture, it looks like if you step on it it will "break" and turn in to a lava source, now before you say well thats really OP, you have to remember you cannot farm this like ice, and it spawns around the most dangerous part of the nether, Here is a little demo I setup

Amazon’s Kindle Oasis: Making Reading a Pleasure

Y’know how some people knock e-readers, adamant that they still like the smell of paper and the feel of physically turning the pages? I’m the opposite: I prefer the feel of gliding my finger across the smooth glass screen of my smartphone, and watching the pages electronically turn. I don’t say this to be a contrarian, I genuinely think reading books on e-devices is a superior experience. It’s not sacrificing any trees, it’s ergonomic because I’m already carrying around my phone, I can read a couple of pages when waiting in line anywhere, know exactly how much of the book is left to read, can easily check bookmarks and highlights, adjust the font size, and have my complete library with me for future reference.
