Lenovo Vibe S1 gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

Lenovo has been one of the slower companies when it comes to updating its products to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but the Chinese smartphone maker isn’t stopping. Following the release of the update for the A7000, K3 Note, and Vibe P1 over the past few months, today Lenovo has started sending out the Marshmallow bits to the Vibe S1.

So far the update has been spotted in the United Arab Emirates and India, but it’s sure to make it to other territories in due course. Your phone will pop up a notification once the new software is ready to download and install.

Sony releases a bunch of new videos for the Xperia X family

Sony is currently in the process of getting ready to release the three members of its Xperia X family, which were unveiled at MWC in February: the Xperia X, X Performance, and XA.

As part of those preparations, the Japanese company has uploaded a lot of videos about these three devices to its YouTube channel today. El smartwatch de HTC podría llegar a principios de junio

Los relojes inteligentes o smartwatch están últimamente muy de moda, tanto que prácticamente todas las firmas conocidas han querido tener cierta presencia en el mercado lanzando algún dispositivo de este tipo. Sólo hace falta ir unos días más atrás para recordar que hasta Xiaomi ha decidido apuntarse a ello, aunque se desconocen por completo cómo será y cuáles serán sus especificaciones.

En cambio, hay una compañía que lleva algunos años de altibajos bastante notables y de la que no se ha escuchado hasta hoy su intención de poder crear un smartwatch propio. No es otra que HTC, la firma taiwanesa que hace muy poco tiempo presentó el HTC 10 y que ahora parece tener la vista puesta en este proyecto.

Desde Teknofilo nos hemos hecho eco de esta noticia, la que en realidad proviene de un filtrador que ya en más de una ocasión nos ha ofrecido interesantes informaciones. Se trata de Evan Blass, que en su cueta de Twitter ha apuntado que el smartwatch de HTC podría llegar en unos 30 días, en concreto la semana del 6 de junio.

Lo que no ha especificado en ningún caso es si la fecha que está ofreciendo es la del momento en la que será anunciado o también cuando se pondrá a la venta. En cualquier caso se trata aún de un rumor bastante difuso, ya que no conocemos absolutamente nada de este posible HTC One Watch o como quiera que se pueda acabar llamando el dispositivo, aunque lo que sí suponemos es que poseerá Android Wear.

En cualquier caso, deberemos quedar a las esperas de un anuncio oficial. De momento podemos disfrutar de otros relojes que ya nos encontramos en el mercado y que probablemente nos ofrecen lo mismo que en un futuro próximo el de HTC. ¿Os interesa un smartwatch de la marca taiwanesa?
