Chrome ‘destrona’ a Explorer como el navegador de internet más utilizado
Chrome finalmente ha destronado al Internet Explorer de su lugar como número uno entre los programas de navegación en internet, tras publicarse un nuevo estudio este lunes según el cual el software de Google desplazó a su competidor entre los usuarios de computadoras.
El estudio realizado por el organismo especializado Net Application, señala que Chrome es utilizado por 41.66% de los usuarios de computadoras frente al 41.35% del Explorer.
En marzo pasado, Chrome tenía solamente 39.09% contra 43.40% de Internet Explorer.

Ya en 2012 otro organismo de evaluación del mercado, StatCounter, había estimado que Chrome había sobrepasado al Explorer, aunque ese resultado fue refutado por Microsoft, que consideró que esa investigación sobreestimaba la cuota de mercado del software de Google y subestimaba la de su producto.
La medición de StatCounter en abril pasado es aún más dura en sus resultados, pues da al Chrome el 60,47% del mercado de usuarios en computadoras frente al 13,25% del Internet Explorer.
En este estudio incluso el Firefox supera al programa de Microsoft con 15,62%.
La ventaja del Chrome es aún mayor en el mercado de los teléfonos inteligentes en donde el sistema operativo Android de Google equipa al 80% de los teléfonos vendidos en el mundo.
