The latest update of BBM for Android, which should already be out in the Play Store, brings with it a much-requested feature: video chats. BBM has had support for video calls on BlackBerry OS 10, but this is now finally making its way to the two big mobile platforms – a release for iOS is apparently coming soon.
Over in the Android app, the video chat functionality is still in beta, and marked as such. Hence, some hiccups may occur. Also, to make sure nothing will break with its backend infrastructure, BlackBerry is currently limiting the rollout of the new feature to the US and Canada….

Para ponerte en situación, debes saber que Twitter tiene un límite de 100.000 tokens para limitar la cantidad de usuarios que entran en la red a través de apps de terceros. En cuanto se dieron cuenta de que Fenix había sobrepasado el límite, denegaron el acceso a la red social a través de la app.
Esto es algo ridículo por un par de motivos. El primero es que si tantísima gente utiliza una aplicación de terceros, como creador de la app principal deberías plantearte qué es lo que estás haciendo mal tú, ya que por algo usarán una app de terceros en vez de la tuya.
El otro motivo es que otros clientes de Twitter como Falcon o TweetCaster también cuentan con muchísimos usuarios, seguramente hayan pasado el límite de tokens y nunca hemos tenido noticias sobre su eliminación del Google Play. Por suerte, parece que los jefes de Fenix se han puesto en contacto con el equipo de Twitter y han solucionado el problema.
Conclusiones
Al final, todo ha quedado en un susto y los usuarios podrán usar su app favorita para Twitter sin problemas. Esto, evidentemente supone un varapalo para el equipo de Fenix, que probablemente pierda usuarios que teman volver a ser baneados. Esperamos que Twitter se deje de restricciones y mejore su aplicación, ya que buena falta le hace.

Although Google has already started testing Android N with developers, Android handset makers are still busy updating their wares to Marshmallow. Case in point: LG, and its G3. The flagship smartphone from 2014 is now receiving the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow both on AT&T and T-Mobile, according to multiple reports from owners.
T-Mobile’s model isn’t currently enjoying an over-the-air rollout of the update, so to download and install it you’ll need to use LG’s desktop software. Even so, the new release may not yet show as being available for everyone.
The Google Photos app for Android is in the process of receiving a new update today. Version 1.19 should already be available in the Google Play Store, and it comes with a few new features.
