Los usuarios pierden interés en las tablets en favor de los convertibles

Lo cierto es que el mercado de las tablets no se está viendo muy beneficiado durante los últimos años, ya que no es la primera vez que hablamos de un cierto retroceso en las ventas de las mismas o lo que viene a ser lo mismo: una disminución del interés por ellas. Son muchos las cuestiones por lo que se produce ésto, como por ejemplo la menor necesidad de cambiar de tablet a lo largo de los pocos años o simplemente que los smartphones de hoy en día ya cuentan con pantallas algo más grandes.

Además, también han aparecido a lo largo de estos años los convertibles, unos dispositivos que además de darnos las mismas funciones que las tablets convencionales, también son capaces de ofrecernos las herramientas que podríamos ver en un ordenador de sobremesa, siendo un buen ejemplo la Surface de Windows.

Malos datos para las tablets, a diferencia de los convertibles

El caso es que la IDC ya ha ofrecido algunos datos sustanciosos sobre las ventas del primer cuarto de este año 2016, momento en el que se ha visto un desplome en la venta de tabletas, pero sin embargo una creciente subida en la de convertibles. Durante este tiempo, se han vendido un total de 39,6 millones de tablets, bastante lejos de los 46,4 millones en la misma época del año pasado.

Desde IDC comentan algo importante, cosa que también destacan desde Windows Central, y es que parece que se está produciendo una gran interés por los convertibles de Windows y cuyo crecimiento se ha traducido en unas 4,9 millones de unidades vendidas más que el anterior año. Además, el mercado de las tablets no es el único en épocas bajas, sino que también pasa lo mismo con el de PC, algo que termina por favorecer en gran manera a los últimos interesados.

Por otra parte, parece que Apple no ha querido ofrecer muchos datos sobre cómo le han ido las ventas de sus iPad Pro en 2015 y la versión de 9,7 pulgadas que lanzaron en Marzo. Sólo se conoce que han vendido unos 10,3 millones de iPads en el primer cuarto, pero no cuántos iPad Pros han logrado vender durante este tiempo. ¿Cómo creéis que terminará todo este asunto?

Hi Friends,

I recently discovered that my Minecraft account has been taken over by a 10 year old Bosnian child. I wondered… "How?" and a little bit of "Why?" before I investigated the issue further.

I found that original Minecraft accounts have been at risk for a long time. If you have upgraded your account to Mojang, you should be in the clear.

A quick search of "Minecraft Premium Account List" told me all I needed to know about the loss of my account. Entire lists of usernames and passwords are being leaked daily and your information may already be out there for someone else to claim.

How I lost my account-

I have had the same password on my account since I created it in 2010. That's a long time for a rather simple password. At the time, Minecraft was not a hit, barely known to most gaming communities. I felt secure being part of a small community and never changed it. Since some time before Minecraft was purchased by Microsoft, the original accounts became obsolete, being replaced by Mojang Accounts.

My username and password was leaked on a premium account list and on December 15, 2015, a user migrated my account to Mojang, changing the account email address and username. No alert email was sent to me regarding this change.

How I found my account-

This site allows you to search any username of a Minecraft/Mojang account to see the UUID, current username, and current skin. I was so fortunate to find that the person that took over my account had YouTube and Facebook pages dedicated to his Minecraft game recordings. This also allowed me to find his December 16th video claiming he now had a Premium Account.

How I hope to get my account back-

Simple, really. I have contacted Mojang support and now hope for the best. I have a difficult situation where I have no original Transaction ID, as required for account related issues, but I do have gift codes that I purchased under the account back then. If you identify your account has been taken over, you should have the Transaction ID from your original purchase when contacting Mojang.
