Hace relativamente poco tiempo que HTC presentó el HTC 10, su nueva apuesta dentro de los smartphones Android de gama alta. Como siempre, desde la firma taiwanesa esperan que este dispositivo les ayude a recuperar el terreno perdido. Sin embargo, la salvación para HTC parece haber adoptado la forma de un casco de realidad virtual llamado HTC Vive, resultado de una alianza con Valve, el gigante creador de Steam.
Este casco de realidad virtual viene con un set dedicado de controles duales para las manos del usuario, y un par de cámaras externas que ayudan al software a crear un entorno virtual que cabe en la habitación en la que te encuentres. El HTC Vive está diseñado para usos prolongados y cuenta con características que hacen al usuario más fácil saltar entre el mundo virtual y el real con tan sólo pulsar un botón.
Ahora, según hemos podido saber gracias a PhoneArena, HTC está preparando algo especial para el Vive.
HTC ha decidido facilitar las cosas a los usuarios para recibir notificaciones de sus contactos sin necesidad de quitarse el casco. Para ello han desarrollado una aplicación especial para el HTC Vive que ya se puede descargar desde Google Play. Esto permite a los usuarios emparejar sus dispositivos con las gafas de realidad virtual a través de Bluetooth. Gracias a esto podrán recibir llamadas, mensajes y notificaciones del calendario sin dejar la experiencia de realidad virtual.

Las notificaciones que se recibirán no interrumpirán la experiencia de juego, y se almacenarán en la pestaña Vive del sistema informático de las gafas. Desde ahí, el usuario puede elegir entre unas cuantas respuestas rápidas predefinidas o llamar al contacto directamente.
Por ahora la app no soporta notificaciones de las principales aplicaciones de chat. Esto incluye a Facebook Messenger y WhatsApp. Esto, sin embargo, debería solucionarse en el futuro.

The folks over at it168 took apart the Meizu Pro 6 and found few obstacles along the way (so repairs should be easy), plus tons of thermal films and coatings.
The initial disassembly is easy-peasy. Undo two screws, take out the card slot and pop out the screen. Be careful, though, two cables connect the screen to the rest of the phone.
Digging in further, it168 found a metal plate that helps spread out the heat from the Helio X25 chipset. Additionally, there’s a graphite thermal film over the chipset to further facilitate cooling.
