Hace ya unos meses, Google anunciaba su fusión con la compañía Alphabet, la cual vendría para sustituir en nombre a la compañía de la gran G, eso sí, sin realizar demasiados cambios que pudieran afectar a sus usuarios.
Unos meses más tarde de saber que Alphabet se convertía en la empresa más valiosa del mundo, incluso por encima de Apple –aunque esto cambiaba en poco tiempo–, hemos podido conocer, gracias a un comunicado oficial, los primeros resultados financieros de la compañía matriz de Google, que, aunque ha conseguido aumentar sus beneficios, no ha conseguido cumplir las expectativas previstas para este primer trimestre.
Según hemos podido comprobar en los datos financieros proporcionados, el crecimiento de Alphabet durante este primer trimestre del año como compañía matriz de Google, ha sido de alrededor de un 19%, lo que, en dólares se traduce como 4.207 millones, y en euros, 3.725 millones, lo que coloca a la compañía con una capitalización bursátil de 530.000 millones, y que únicamente es superada por Apple, pues los de Cupertino cuentan con una capitalización de 590.000 millones.
Teniendo en cuenta estos datos, y comparándolos con los datos provistos por Google en el anterior año, vemos que el crecimiento de ingresos facturados ha sido de un 17% con respecto al mismo período del pasado año 2015, lo cual supone un total de 20.257 millones de dólares en ingresos.
Por otra parte, y tal como han afirmado desde el comunicado, aún teniendo en cuenta los resultados obtenidos, no han conseguido cumplir las expectativas previstas para este primer trimestre, pues a parte de todos los beneficios, la compañía ha sufrido pérdidas en cuanto a sus acciones, unas pérdidas que llegaron a ser de hasta el 7%, traduciéndose esto en unos beneficios de 7,5 dólares por acción, en lugar de los 7,96 dólares que se tenían previstos.
Finalmente, Google también ha decidido resolver algunas dudas sobre la demanda impuesta por la Comisión Europea debido a la supuesta imposición de Google de pre-instalar sus aplicaciones en los dispositivos de fabricantes externos. De esta acusación, la compañía ha afirmado que ofrecen una gran flexibilidad a los fabricantes, además de otorgar a los usuarios una gran libertad en sus dispositivos con Android.

Crossy Road on Android has got a fun little update that a lot of you should appreciate. The game now supports local multiplayer. Now, up to four people can join in the same game over a local Wi-Fi network and play against each other. The one who goes the farthest wins. First details regarding of the upcoming 3rd generation Moto E have surfaced thanks to import documents on Zauba. Codenamed “Affinity”, the phone is listed to have a 5″ display and a price of just $78.
