AMPLIFIED – Minecraft’s most forgotten feature

I was fiddling around with the gamemodes and world types on Minecraft when suddenly, I wondered to myself, "is amplified still a thing?" It hadn't crossed my mind in over a year that this feature even existed in the game. And I saw that it was. The terrain generated and I realised, once again, how awesome amplified worlds actually are.

I then realised – absolutely nobody talks about this world type anymore. It was hyped quite a bit in 2013 but has since been totally forgotten. It's not in any videos, nobody online talks about it anymore, you just don't see anything about this anymore.

Anyone else noticed how forgotten this feature is?
