‘Oculus Rift’s’ Botched Launch Is Making People Angry, But Does It Matter?

Ordered an Oculus Rift? You’ll get it, eventually. That’s basically where I and thousands of other eager VR customers are right now. Oculus Rift shipments are nowhere near their original launch shipments at this point, and even the more understanding tech enthusiasts seem to be getting frustratedm which can’t be great news for parent company Facebook. Yes, the product has launched and it’s out in the wild. But this launch feels halfway at best.

Like It Or Not, Microtransactions Are The Future Of ‘Destiny’

It seemed so innocent, when Tess Everiss first set up shop. Just gestures! she said. Who doesn’t want a few knew emotes to have fun in this crazy world of Guardians and Hive? And here’s even some silver, on the house! Just a taste. And then later, we could buy packages related to sparrow racing. Just a bit more. No need to worry. Now, with the April Update, we can buy sterling treasure boxes, normally limited to three a week, and we can get some of the most desirable armor in the game from it. Make no mistake, Microtransactions have fully arrived in Destiny. The question is: will they be able to keep this train rolling without compromising the game?
