‘Ratchet And Clank’ Releases Tomorrow On PS4

We’re a little short on cartoony games, these days. Kids games seem to all be rapidly shifting towards toys to life, AAA games seem to be locked in a decades-long “who can be darker” contest, and it’s been years since I’ve seen a proper platformer made by a company that wasn’t Nintendo. Now, Ratchet and Clank’s guns mean it isn’t quite a pure platformer, but it’s still a throwback to a time gone by. It’s one I’m looking forward to being thrown back to, however — Ratchet and Clank comes out on PS4 tomorrow, April 12th.

Los Samsung Galaxy S7 y S7 edge se actualizan para arreglar sus problemas de pantalla

Desde el lanzamiento de los últimos tope de gama de Samsung, los Galaxy S7 y S7 edge, algunos usuarios han reportado en diferentes foros algunos problemas con la pantalla del dispositivo, unos problemas que causaban toques fantasma en los bordes del dispositivo con la pantalla curva, además de la imposibilidad de la activación del modo que impide la activación de la pantalla cuando el sensor de proximidad detecta un objeto cercano, lo que causaba cierto drenaje de la batería en los dispositivos.

Para terminar con estos problemas, tal como leemos en el medio especializado en Samsung, SamMobile, hoy la compañía surcoreana ha liberado una actualización que resuelve estos pequeños fallos, además de algunas novedades que procedemos a contarte a continuación.

Esta nueva versión, denominada XXU1APD1, está siendo liberada de manera global, comenzando, como siempre por los dispositivos libres, es decir, que no están personalizados por ninguna operadora. Obviamente, y como no podría ser de otra manera, se trata de una actualización leve, por ello tan solo pesa unos 150 MB, y por supuesto, está basada en Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Además de los problemas expuestos anteriormente, esta actualización viene para arreglar otro de los fallos que sufrían estos dos dispositivos, como lo eran las imágenes distorsionadas que tomaba la cámara de fotos en algunas ocasiones, sobre todo al capturar imágenes en movimiento.

Por último, y como siempre, Samsung afirma que esta actualización viene para mejorar el rendimiento y mejorar la experiencia de usuario, además de la estabilidad del sistema. Si tienes un Samsung Galaxy S7 o S7 edge, puedes comprobar si tienes la última actualización instalada en el dispositivo desde los ajustes del terminal, pero para quien no quiera esperar más, SamMobile proporciona el paquete de actualización para instalarlo de manera manual desde el recovery.

Massive new Meizu Pro 6 leak brings us live images, spec details, benchmark results

The HTC 10 isn’t the only smartphone that’s due to become official this week. In fact, Meizu will unveil the Pro 6 on April 13, which is this Wednesday. The phone has been leaked a few times already, and last week we even got the first official image showing it.

‘Destiny’ And ‘The Division’ Go Head To Head Tomorrow With Dueling Updates

Here’s a situation, as a hypothetical. You were a longtime Destiny player, but after you cleaned up King’s Fall, got within striking distance of maximum light and got all the exotics you were interested in, you stopped playing for a bit, waiting for the next update. In the meantime, Ubisoft launched The Division, another shared world shooter cum MMO with some of the same mechanics. You picked that one up, hit the max level and started falling into some of those same loot loops. But then! Destiny announced a big update for April with a higher light level and some new encounters. At the same time, The Division announced a big update adding new loot, new enemies, and crucially, an endgame incursion (raid) called “Falcon Lost.” All of a sudden, our hypothetical gamer has a decision to make. He or she can still play both, of course, but one has to come first. And that’s where we’re at on April 12th.
