For example, the FBI took Apple to court in order to have a customized backdoor created for the purpose of accessing the iPhone 5c belonging to the deceased San Bernardino terrorist Syed Farook – which ended up being dropped since the government agency found a way to retrieve the data without requiring a backdoor. This week, a bug was found in iOS 9.3.1 that enables hackers to bypass passwords in order to access photos and contacts.
