Am I The Only One Excited For ‘Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice?’

I’ve noticed something odd in the weeks and months leading up to the release of Zack Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. My corners of the Internet — English speaking, video game playing, geek-inclined– are usually pretty excitable. And yet they seem to approaching the release of one of the biggest superhero movies of the year with one giant meh. Disdain at best. Maybe I’m crazy, but I get the feeling I’m one of the only people around actually excited for Batman vs. Superman.

Meizu lineup for 2016 leaked, Pro 6 to come with Exynos 8890 chip and QHD display

The Meizu Pro 6 has been a regular in our news section, regardless of the fact that it’s still nowhere near official status. A whole bunch of other Meizu smartphones are to be expected this year though, detailed in a leaked document – complete with specs and pricing.

Bottom to top, the lineup starts with the Meizu m3, featuring a 5-inch 720p LCD screen, 2,800mAh battery, and unknown chipset. Prices are listed at CNY 599 ($92) for the 16GB version and CNY 200 on top for twice the storage.

LG 360 Cam on pre-order in the US at $200

The LG 360 Cam, the compact photo sphere imager, will cost £200 in the UK, which according to the Transatlantic exchange rate means the US price will be $200.

Sure enough, B&H is taking pre-orders at just that price. No shipping date is listed, but the LG G5 ships out on April 1.

You still have a chance to score a free LG 360 Cam if you buy an LG G5 from T-Mobile by April 5.

Pandora FMS, plataforma española de código abierto para monitorizar

Pandroa FMS es una plataforma flexible para la monitorización, además es de código abierto y española. Sin duda un gran proyecto que debes conocer si eres un administrador de servidores. Un software de gran calidad y muy profesional que bien podríamos incluir en nuestra lista de software empresarial de código abierto que redactamos en este mismo blog, donde hicimos un listado con proyectos interesantes para el sector empresas.

Desde la página oficial del proyecto Pandora FMS presentan a éste software como un paquete para la monitorización y gestión de infraestructuras TI. Pandora FMS puede trabajar tanto con equipamiento de red, servidores Microsoft Windows Server y tipo UNIX, infraestructuras virtualizadas, y todo tipo de aplicaciones. Con multitud de funcionalidades, lo hacen un software apropiado para muchas de las tareas de administración, consiguiendo monitorizar multitud de datos necesarios para generar un sistema de telemetría completo.

Desde la web oficial, pandorafms.org, podéis encontrar todo tipo de información sobre la plataforma, así como descargar la última versión de Pandora FMS. Imprescindible para que todo funcione correctamente y que nos ayudará a tener controlado el sistema completo, permitiendo visualizar rápidamente donde radica el problema, pudiéndolo corregir rápidamente, sin que ello suponga una pérdida de tiempo que se traduzca en pérdidas para la empresa que apoya sus servicios sobre el servidor o de dinero.

Si te animas a descargarlo, debes saber que permite bajar una imagen ISO con el sistema operativo CentOS tan aclamada en el terreno de los servidores. Al instalarlo, podremos configurarlo rápidamente de una forma sencilla para que gestione sistemas operativos Windows como Linux, entre otros, así como otros servicios web, comprobar el estado de los hosts, etc. En definitiva, un gran programa para conseguir telemetría de sistemas para servidores…completo, eficiente, de código abierto y gratuito. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Report: Nintendo Is Shutting Down Wii U Production

That the Wii U hasn’t been everything that Nintendo hoped is as old news as the fact that the venerable Japanese gaming company is moving on towards its next home console, currently codenamed NX. But that transition might be a little more complete than we were thinking: according to a report in respected Japanese newspaper Nikkei, Nintendo will be shutting down production on the Wii U by the end of 2016. Nintendo responded with what looks like a denial:
