I Know You Have An ‘App’ But TV Is Still Valuable During Threatening Weather
Doesn’t it seem like people are increasingly receiving weather information from “Apps?” In 2015, Five Thirty Eight asked 938 respondents, “How do you check the weather?” The phone’s default weather app lead with 23.2%. However, the second and fourth responses were local TV news (20.6%) and The Weather Channel (15.2%), respectively. When you add Weather Channel and Local TV 35.8% of respondents go to a TV source for weather information. This number doesn’t include other networks that have viewership as well. In the aggregate, TV is still the dominant source by my math. I suspect these numbers are even higher during weather emergencies or impending hazards. To find out, I reached out to three colleagues representing different parts of the weather communication enterprise.

Marshmallow now seeding to HTC One (E8) and One (M8 Eye) as well
After catering to most of the variants of its flagship lineup including the One M9 and M8, HTC seems to be extending its update efforts to mid-rangers with a rather unexpected kick-off on the HTC Desire Eye, which was not part of the original Marshmallow eligibility list.
Now HTC is keeping the ball rolling with a pair of planned releases, as reports are coming in of Marshmallow updates appearing on both the One (E8) and the One (M8 Eye). Características y especificaciones técnicas del DOOGEE Y300
Comenzamos hablando del aspecto exterior del DOOGEE Y300, y es que estamos ante un teléfono muy cuidado. Destaca su fabricación con bordes metálicos y su escaso grosor, de apenas 6,9 milímetros que hará que tenerlo en la mano sea una delicia total.
En su interior nos encontramos un procesador MediaTek 6735 de 64 bits acompañado de la Mali T720, 2 GB de memoria RAM, 32 GB de almacenamiento ampliables mediante una tarjeta microSD y 2.200 mAh de batería. También nos encontraremos con dual sim, bluetooth 4.0, radio FM y compatibilidad con redes 4G/LTE, pequeños extras muy interesantes además de imprescindibles hoy en día.
Respecto a su pantalla, este DOOGEE Y300 cuenta con un panel de 5 pulgadas IPS con resolución HD. La pantalla se ve realmente bien y su resolución es un acierto, ya que una mayor podría haber lastrado el rendimiento de este terminal. También es digno de mencionar la tecnología 2.5D en la pantalla, cada vez más presente en los dispositivos de hoy en día y que estamos seguros que será algo fijo en todos los futuros terminales.
En cuanto al apartado fotográfico, nos encontramos con una cámara trasera de 8 megapíxeles SONY IMX219 que realmente realiza unas fotografías excelentes. Por otro lado, contamos con una cámara delantera de 5 megapíxeles perfecta para realizar selfies.
Por supuesto también tendremos la última versión del sistema operativo de Google, es decir, Android 6.0 Marshmallow y es que ya sabéis que desde Andro4all, exigimos ya a los fabricantes que empiecen a lanzar sus nuevos terminales con esta nueva versión.
