La mejor aplicación para bloquear aplicaciones de accesos no autorizados
Hoy os quiero presentar la que para mi personalmente es o una de las mejores aplicaciones, o directamente puede ser considerada como la mejor aplicación para bloquear aplicaciones de accesos no autorizados y proteger así nuestra privacidad ante intrusos o usos indebidos de las mismas.
La aplicación que os muestro en el vídeo adjunto con el que comenzamos este post, responde al nombre de AppLock | Protección de apps y la podemos descargar de manera totalmente gratuita para Android, (aunque con la peligrosa opción de compras integradas in app), desde la tienda oficial de aplicaciones para Android que no es otra que el Play Store de Google que viene preinstalado en cualquier terminal Android que se precie de serlo.
¿Qué nos ofrece AppLock | Protección de apps?
AppLock | Protección de apps, nos ofrece la increíble funcionalidad de poder bloquear aplicaciones de accesos no autorizados. Así con esta aplicación que podríamos considerar de seguridad Android, podemos proteger esas aplicaciones especialmente sensibles o delicadas y prevenir que cualquier curioso en un descuido pueda acceder a ellas y chafardear sin nuestro consentimiento explícito.
Con tan solo ejecutar la aplicación tras su instalación y crear un nuevo código de desbloqueo por PIN o patrón, ya se nos mostrará su página o sección principal desde la que podremos bloquear aplicaciones con tan solo seleccionarlas de una lista en el que se nos muestran todas las aplicaciones instaladas en nuestro terminal Android.

- Función para impedir la desinstalación de aplicaciones instaladas. Para desinstalarlas nos pedirá el PIN o el patrón que hemos creado en el primer paso nada más acceder a la aplicación por primera vez.
- Compatible con lectores de huellas de los principales Smartphones del mercado.
- Función para bloquear de manera automática las nuevas aplicaciones instaladas.

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will get carrier locks to the first inserted SIM
A leaked slide we got through our tip line suggests Samsung will tweak the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge to lock to the carrier of the first inserted SIM card. Until now most of the Samsung Galaxies sold through carriers came unlocked.
Don’t panic! This doesn’t concern the SIM-free and carrier unlocked models. The slide seems to be part of a presentation to telcos. It says the customer’s device should be configured after inserting the SIM card.
It seems Samsung found a unified solution for carrier locks, and this will make obsolete the procedure where each carrier has to order custom batches of Galaxy smartphones. This also means lots of carriers that weren’t locking their Samsung smartphones because of all the hassle, now will do it.
Don’t forget Samsung’s unlocked phones will be still region locked, which is a whole different thing. They will lock to the region in which you activate them first (Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.).
We’ll know more once the Galaxy S7 series hit the shelves.

HTC One X9, primeras impresiones en vídeo del nuevo gama media de HTC
Durante este MWC hemos podido probar el HTC One X9, un teléfono que si bien no ha sido presentado oficialmente durante esta feria, si que nos ha parecido interesante enseñároslo. Un terminal orientado a la gama media alta que rompe con todos los estereotipos de HTC hasta el momento. ¿Quieres conocerlo?
Lo primer que llama la atención del HTC One X9 es su diseño, alejado de todo lo que habíamos visto de la marca taiwanesa hasta la fecha. No tiene nada que ver con el diseño de sus anteriores modelos y eso sinceramente es malo. Porque si algo hacía bien HTC era diseñar teléfonos, y alejarse de estas líneas no puede traer nada bueno.
Por lo demás, tenemos un teléfono de 15 cm x 7,5 cm x 8 mm y 170 gramos, con un procesador MediaTek Helio X10 acompañado de la Power VR 6200, 3 GB de RAM, 32 GB de almacenamiento ampliables mediante microSD y una batería de 3.000 mAh. También dispone de carga rápida, NFC y dual sim.
Respecto a su pantalla, nos encontramos con un panel de 5,5 pulgadas FHD y con una cifra de unos 400 ppi. Entrando a hablar del apartado fotográfico, una cámara trasera de 13 megapíxeles y una delantera de 5 megapíxeles, que habrá que esperar a probar más en profundidad antes de realizar una valoración.
Un teléfono diferente, destinado a la gama media y alta que en principio no debería tener ningún tipo de problemas en cuanto a rendimiento, en parte gracias al MediaTek Helio X10 y sus 3 GB de RAM. Si bien el éxito de este terminal tan sólo depende de HTC, ya que si consigue lanzarlo a un precio atractivo, puede vender bastante. Se rumorea unos 350 euros, pero ya sabemos que los teléfonos de los taiwaneses no son precisamente atractivos en gran parte de sus modelos.

I recently bought Minecraft after my brother kept telling me to do so. I never really got on the bandwagon back in school days when i was 12, im 19 now. I played it now and then but never really delved much into it.
Just a few questions i have

Google is working on PlaNet – a neural network for guessing where pictures were taken
Wondering where a fabulous picture on the internet was taken at – we’ve all been there. Guessing the location is quite hard if the image is not geotagged.
It seemed someone at Google had this problem, too, so the company decided to take the image search to the next level.
Google built a neural network called PlaNet, loaded with more than 90 million location-tagged images. When you search for the location of a picture – PlaNet scans it at pixel-level matches its contents to the already existing database.
The first batch of trials proved promising – PlaNet guessed the country with a 28.4% success rate and the continent – with a 48% success rate. PlaNet was also able to recognize 3.6% of times images at street level accuracy, and 10% at city-level.
Sure, those numbers hardly sound impressive, but they, in fact, do when you consider this is just the beginning.
Hopefully, we’ll see PlaNet up and working sooner rather than later. The service supposedly takes 377MB of memory, which means it can easily work even off a smartphone.
