Alcatel Fierce XL with Windows 10 to land at T-Mobile this Wednesday for $139

Last December word got out that T-Mobile would sell Alcatel’s first Windows 10 smartphone, the OneTouch Fierce XL. And in January at CES, Alcatel finally made the handset official, yet without saying anything about availability or pricing.

Now a new report claims to shed some light on both of those matters. First off, apparently the Alcatel Fierce XL with Windows 10 is due to land at T-Mobile this Wednesday, on February 10 – so in just a couple of days.

Next up, it’s said to cost a mere $139 all-in. This being the magenta carrier though, we assume you’ll be able to purchase it using an installment plan, in which case that sum will be spread across many months. If all of this is true, expect TMo to say something official very soon.

The Windows-running Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL comes with a 5.5-inch 720p touchscreen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 SoC (with a 1.1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, an 8 MP rear snapper, a 2 MP front-facing shooter, 4G LTE, and a 2,500 mAh battery.

Cómo gestionar todas tus contraseñas en Chrome para Android

Si hay algo que puede resultar engorroso en la actualidad es el manejo de todas las contraseñas que usamos para nuestras numerosas cuentas. A menos que tengas una contraseña estándar para todo, lo cual es poco recomendable, tener que recordar las diferentes claves que usas para el correo, redes sociales, etc. resulta bastante pesado. Afortunadamente, gracias a navegadores como Chrome, todas las contraseñas se sincronizan a través de tus dispositivos.

Actualmente, un gran número de navegadores guardan tus contraseñas para no tener que experimentar la molestia de introducir tus datos uno a uno en todos tus dispositivos. Sin embargo, existen pocos que lo hacen tan bien como Google Chrome. Aunque algo básico, este navegador dispone de uno de los gestores de contraseñas más seguros y fiables que existen.

Acceder a este gestor no es muy complicado, aunque tiene su truco. Por ello, hemos decidido realizar esta guía y mostrar de manera sencilla cómo conocer cuáles de tus contraseñas guarda Chrome. De esta manera, si algún día decides abandonar Chrome por otro navegador, puedes dejarlo limpio de todas tus claves esenciales.

Al abrir el navegador, debes ir hacia la esquina superior derecha pulsar sobre el símbolo de opciones. Dentro de las opciones, deberás fijar tu atención en “Configuración” y acceder a ella. Una vez dentro de “Configuración”, selecciona la opción de “Guardar contraseñas” y pulsa sobre “Activar”.

Si en cualquier momento te arrepientes de que Chrome guarde tus contraseñas, siempre puedes desactivar esta característica desde la opción “Guardar contraseñas”. Sin embargo, no merece la pena tener que sufrir la molestia de introducir tu contraseña y credenciales cada vez que quieras entrar a un sitio web pudiendo estos datos ser recordados por Chrome.

Lógicamente, es imposible ver las contraseñas de tus cuentas en la aplicación Chrome, ya que si alguien te robase el móvil tendría un acceso fácil a tus datos personales. Afortunadamente, sí que podemos ver la lista de páginas web en las que tenemos creada una cuenta y su correspondiente nombre de usuario.

Por suerte, aunque el gestor de contraseñas sea algo elemental, sí que podemos llevar a cabo diferentes acciones que resultan muy útiles. Si, por ejemplo, has entrado en tu cuenta de Instagram a través del teléfono de tu amigo o amiga y se te ha olvidado salir, siempre puedes recurrir a este gestor para eliminar todos tus datos del terminal.

Instagram makes multiple account support official for all

Instagram has been experimenting with adding support for multiple accounts to its Android and iOS apps for months now – the first reported instance of people seeing this was in November. But that was all testing, and the feature has not so far been available to all users of its apps.

This week, however, that will change. The Facebook-owned photo sharing service has officially announced that multiple account support is coming to everyone. This will be part of version 7.15 of the Instagram app for iOS and Android, which will make it to the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store in the next few days.

Once you get the new app, you can head on over to your profile settings and easily add another account. After that, if you tap on your username at the top of your profile you’ll be able to switch between accounts. And once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile picture in various places throughout the app, so you aren’t confused as to which particular account you’re currently…
