Cómo solucionar los problemas con el Wi-Fi del ZUK Z1

Seguramente ya sepas que Lenovo compró Motorola a Google hace algún tiempo. Sin embargo, parece que la firma asiática no tiene suficiente, y han decidido crear una línea de productos denominados ZUK para diferenciar sus modelos de los de Motorola. Las primeras noticias que tuvimos de esto llegaron con el lanzamiento del ZUK Z1, el cual analizamos en Andro4all.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 3 GB de RAM, batería de 4100 mAh…Especificaciones de gama alta, que se ven enturbiadas por un molesto fallo con el Wi-Fi. La conectividad es inestable, la velocidad de descarga y subida decae, pérdidas de conexión, etc. Hoy te traemos la solución a este molesto problema para que puedas disfrutar como te mereces de tu Zuk Z1.

CyanogenMod vs CyanogenOS

Uno de los primeros terminales que vimos corriendo CyanogenOS fue el OnePlus Two, que analizamos en Andro4all. Nos llevamos una decepción con el rendimiento de dicha ROM, algún que otro lag, falta de suavidad… Parece que las ROM clásicas de CyanogenMod funcionan bastante mejor. En el caso del Zuk, la solución radica en esto mismo.

Los problemas que sufre el Zuk Z1 se encuentran en su kernel, con lo que con un cambio en el software podrás solucionar el problema. El ZUK Z1 viene de fábrica con CyanogenOS, y de aquí viene el problema. No se sabe bien por qué, pero esta ROM es la que produce los famosos problemas con el Wi-Fi. ¿La solución? Instalar una ROM CyanogenMod.

Cómo instalar CyanogenMod en el ZUK Z1

Te dejamos con este completo tutorial donde explicamos paso por paso cómo desbloquear el bootloader, instalar un recovery y custom ROM en el ZUK Z1. Si ya tienes un recovery tan solo tendrás que instalar la ROM desde el mismo. Para ello, sigue los pasos que describimos a continuación.

  • Reiniciar en recovery (recomendamos TWRP) y hacer factory reset

  • Flashear la ROM desde la memoria del teléfono

  • Flashear Gapps desde la memoria del teléfono

  • Wipe dalvik caché

  • Reiniciamos

¡Listo! Tu ZUK Z1 ahora estará corriendo la última versión de CyanogenMod que hayas escogido y no volverá a tener problemas de conectividad Wi-Fi.
