Warriors And Spurs Are Close In The Standings, But Not On The Ticket Market

As the second half of the NBA season starts following the All-Star break, the Golden State Warriors find themselves in the pursuit of history. Through 52 games the Warriors have 48 wins (a .923 winning percentage), which puts them above the pace of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. That Bulls team finished the year with a record of 72-10 (.878 winning percentage), the NBA record for most wins in a season. The Warriors have clearly become the talk of the league with their fast-paced offense behind the reigning league MVP Steph Curry, fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson and rising star Draymond Green.

New Samsung teaser basically confirms that the Galaxy S7 will be water resistant

Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge this Sunday in Barcelona, as you may know. And as we get closer to that moment, the Korean company is teasing more and more aspects of its upcoming flagship smartphones.

One of the things that has been rumored to return to this generation of the top of the line Galaxy S devices after an absence in last year’s S6 and S6 edge is water resistance. This did feature in the Galaxy S5 from 2014, and along with microSD card support will be making a comeback with the S7 line.

That fact has pretty much been confirmed by the teaser video you can see above, which originates at Samsung’s official Twitter account. There’s no point in focusing on the fact that people sometimes drop their phones in water, unless the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge can withstand such an encounter. Now all that’s left is for us to find out the exact IP code for the new models, which will tell us how long they can be safely submerged. But we assume that’s a tidbit that will only be officially revealed on February…

Qualcomm confirma que el LG G5 tendrá un Snapdragon 820

LG, Samsung y otros fabricantes Android están llegando a Barcelona mientras lees este artículo. La razón no es otra que presentar sus nuevos topes de gama en el MWC 2016. De todos ellos, LG y su G5 van a ser dos de los protagonistas, y de este terminal ya hemos visto las primeras imágenes.

Además de otras filtraciones y rumores sobre las especificaciones, que prácticamente ya se han confirmado, Qualcomm ha tuiteado un teaser sobre el LG G5, que incorporará un procesador Snapdragon 820:

Junto con el LG G5, la empresa coreana debería presentar también deberían llegar los nuevos smartphones especializados, entre los que podemos destacar los LG X Cam y LG X Screen y los LG X Max, X Speed, X Style y X Power.

¿Qué sabemos del LG G5?

Por lo que hemos podido saber hasta ahora, las especificaciones del LG G5 se componen de una pantalla de 5,3 pulgadas con resolución QHD, 4 GB de RAM, 32 GB de almacenamiento interno y una cámara de 16 megapíxeles en la parte trasera. A todo esto, y gracias a Qualcomm, podemos añadir un procesador Snapdragon 820.

Estamos a solo unos días de que LG conduzca su evento de prensa en el MWC. Esta será la primera vez que un terminal de la familia G se anuncie en Barcelona, debido a que normalmente se anunciaba durante el otoño. El G5 tiene una tarea que cumplir sustituyendo al LG G4, que según pudimos ver en el análisis que hicieron Carlos y Jaume podía ser considerado como uno de los mejores smartphones del año:

El LG G5 también contará con un nuevo diseño, y por lo que sabemos hasta ahora será un chasis unibody metálico, algo que los coreanos todavía no han hecho.
