El pasado año ha sido decisivo para muchos fabricantes y no hablamos de los tradicionales, si no más bien los procedentes del territorio asiático, los cuales muchos de ellos han sorprendido y mucho al público por sus excelentes dispositivos de gran calidad y rendimiento a un coste de lo más atractivo. Esto no es en general, ya que obviamente otros siguen tras los pasos de los más grandes para hacerse un hueco en el mercado, y entre estos más destacados encontramos a Elephone, el mismo que tiene entre manos nuevos productos para lanzar de forma inminente y que no dejarán indiferente a nadie.
Concretamente hablamos de cuatro productos comenzando por un tope de gama, uno algo más humilde, uno hasta ahora totalmente desconocido y hasta un smartwatch. Comenzando por el Elephone P9000, contendrá en su interior el nuevo procesador MediaTek Helio P10, 4 GB de RAM y 32 GB de almacenamiento, carga inalámbrica, materiales premium con unos biseles casi imperceptibles y la última versión del sistema operativo Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
También encontraremos disponible una versión Lite con especificaciones algo más humildes, pero lo que nos interesa es el lanzamiento de su primer reloj inteligente, el cual esperamos que contenga Android Wear en su interior, unos buenos acabados y que sea una fantástica alternativa a los actuales dispositivos de muñeca de los fabricantes tradicionales.
Antes hemos dicho que se presentarán de forma inminente y así es, ya que mañana mismo día 15 de enero tendrá lugar una conferencia retransmitida en vivo desde Shenzhen, en el que podremos conocer de una vez por todas todos y cada uno de los detalles de estos tres dispositivos, junto con un cuatro que ni siquiera nosotros conocemos.

Xiaomi is quickly becoming one of the world’s leading smartphone companies, and it has an interesting technique that sees it release different variants of the same core device. Xiaomi is doing that again today with the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon, a new version of the device that utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of a MediaTek processor.
WHat’s included in the specs list of this new variant? Xiaomi has outfitted the Redmi Note 3 with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapragon 650 processor, 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 4050mAh battery. The Redmi Note 3 also uses that Snapdragon 650 processor to support VoLTE and 4G + networks in China, giving it a leg up over the MediaTek version.
Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon exclusively in China for ¥999, or about $150 USD. It’s not entirely clear when the device will officially launch, but we wouldn’t expect too long of a wait.

Amazon Prime has quickly become a commodity for folks who use Amazon’s services often, offering access to movies and shows, cloud storage, music, and, of course, fast and free delivery when buying things from the online retail giant.
The yearly $99 subscription price might be too high for some, though, and so Amazon is known to knock off the price of its service for a limited time to swing a few more subscriptions their way. To that end, Amazon has announced that beginning Friday, January 15, at 9:00 PM PST/12:00 AM EST, one year of Amazon Prime will be available for $73.
The sale ends on Sunday, January 17, at 11:59 PM local time, so you only have a limited time to jump on board if you’ve been considering signing up for Prime.
