Hace nada, Xiaomi, en un movimiento de picaresca, tentaba a sus fans con una imagen de la trasera del futuro Redmi Note 2 Pro que será anunciado en el evento organizado por la firma el próximo día 24 de noviembre. Al parecer, esta estrategia ha debido tener éxito puesto que hoy, Xiaomi, ha vuelto a repetir la jugada colgando una segunda imagen de lo que parece ser la futura Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.
Al parecer, el Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro, el primer terminal de la firma en presumir de un cuerpo de metal, no será el único dispositivo presentado ya que, gracias a la imagen publicada por Xiaomi, sabemos que la compañía introducirá la nueva Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, un modelo más reciente de su potente aunque algo anticuada tablet. Aunque la fotografía colgada por la compañía nos indica muy poco acerca de la futura tablet, hace poco el dispositivo fue visto pasando por la herramienta de benchmarks GeekBench.
Si bien no han sido filtrados muchos de los detalles acerca de las especificaciones de la Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, al parecer, el dispositivo tendrá un potente procesador Intel X5-Z8500 en su interior corriendo a 2,24 GHz. Es un gran contraste respecto a su modelo anterior ya que la Mi Pad original presumía del bestial NVIDIA Tegra K1. En lo referente al software, podemos afirmar con seguridad que la tablet correrá la capa de personalización de Xiaomi, MIUI, la cual ha sido desarrollada con Android como base.
Si recordamos, las características de la Xiaomi Mi Pad original se alejaban bastante de la gama media. Con un tamaño de pantalla de 7,9 pulgadas y una definición de 1536 x 2048 píxeles, la Mi Pad presumía de una densidad de píxeles de 324 ppi, una cifra más que respetable. Además de la genial resolución de pantalla, la tablet incorporaba el procesador NVIDIA Tegra K1, uno de los SoCs con más potencia en el apartado gráfico. Todo esto era rematado por 2 GB de RAM y 16/64 GB de memoria interna.
Resumiendo, con estos dos dispositivos preparados para ser anunciados el próximo día 24, el evento organizado por Xiaomi está creando cada vez más hype entre sus seguidores. La gran cuestión es si la firma asiática se esconde un tercer as bajo la manga, cosa más factible conociendo la historia de Xiaomi.

Some users have reported problems with the iPad Pro freezing after charging and unable to respond to pressing the wake or home buttons.
Users are suggesting the culprit is iOS 9.1. Hopefully this is the case since a simple software update to iOS 9.2 can fix the issue.
Apple released a short support document explaining how to fix the issue. You need to force-restart the iPad Pro by holding the sleep/wake and home button together for 10 seconds.

Actualmente cada vez son más los usuarios que saben o necesitan editar cualquier tipo de código, desde un simple programa en C hasta una web dinámica con HTML5 pasando por un archivo php de WordPress. Es una necesidad que bien se puede cubrir con Gedit o Nano pero también existen otras opciones igual de livianas que son más completas y gratuitas.
Una de estas opciones es Sublime Text. Sublime Text es un editor de código, sólo nos permitirá crear código, no podremos ni compilarlo ni tampoco ver los errores, etc.. sólo escribir código, pero esta escritura es enormemente rápida y eficaz.
Sublime Text es también multiplataforma, es decir, se puede instalar y utilizar en Gnu/Linux, en Windows y Mac OS X, por lo que es ideal para aquellos que trabajan con varias plataformas distintas.
Lo malo de Sublime Text es que el usuario novato ha de aprenderse a utilizar los comandos de teclas que existen, pero una vez aprendidos, el manejo es muy simple y eficaz. Además Sublime Text cuenta con una gran cantidad de plugins que hace que mejore la experiencia nuestra con el programa. Así podemos hacer que la pantalla no tenga distracciones para escribir código, que nos señale los errores de sintaxis o sencillamente que nos muestra en el navegador los archivos html que estamos creando. En cualquier caso, esto es un tema enorme que es materia de otro articulo, pero mientras en este enlace podréis encontrar más información al respecto.
La instalación de Sublime Text es bien sencilla y puede ser de dos métodos. El método vía repositorio que sólo se puede hacer en determinadas distribuciones como en Ubuntu o un método más complejo, apto para todas las distribuciones que sería el siguiente. Primero abrimos la terminal y escribimos esto para descargarnos los archivos:
cd ~ wget http://ift.tt/1sd0YpT\ Text\ 2.0.1.tar.bz2 tar vxjf Sublime\ Text\ 2.0.1.tar.bz2
Luego copiamos los archivos a la carpeta opt del sistema.
sudo mv Sublime\ Text\ 2 /opt/
Tras copiarlos nos vamos a crear un enlace simbólico para poder acceder a través del menú de aplicaciones.
sudo ln -s /opt/Sublime\ Text\ 2/sublime_text /usr/bin/sublime
Sublime Text es un gran editor, confirmado por muchos desarrolladores y que además tiene un sistema peculiar de licencias. Sublime Text no es gratuito pero su uso si, por lo que si te gusta y crees que merece la pena, se puede ayudar al proyecto pagando una licencia que cuesta unos 70 dólares, la licencia es de por vida. Personalmente me gusta este editor de código aunque ahora muchos se inclinan por otras opciones menos populares, pero hay que reconocer que Sublime Text es más amigable y familiar que el famoso Vim ¿vosotros qué decís?

Black Friday grows like some tentacled, Lovecraftian beast, stretching out into Thanksgiving, the week before, and the week beyond, spreading deals wherever it goes. While the day after Thanksgiving is definitely ground zero for our annual shopping extravaganza, a number of retailers are turning the week before Black Friday into an unofficial start to what we could consider “November Shopping Season,” or somesuch. Amazon started rolling out deals today, and Microsoft just unveiled a whole raft of Xbox One and Xbox 360 deals on Xbox Live: they’re exclusive to gold members (who also get better deals throughout) until the 24th, but the company has a nifty little deal where you can buy a month of Xbox Live Gold for $1 to get access to the deals.
