The iPad Pro went on sale today in a few dozen countries, with shipping set to start in a few days. But what if you want to purchase the huge tablet from a US carrier?

Well, T-Mobile has just announced its plans regarding the iPad Pro. The magenta carrier will have the device available in participating stores as well as online starting on November 18, which is precisely one week from now.

What’s more, the iPad Pro will be offered through T-Mobile’s Jump On Demand plan, which lets you upgrade to any future iPad of your choice without paying any upgrade fees.

Unfortunately though, T-Mobile has so far stayed mum on the pricing details for the iPad Pro. Hopefully that information will come out soon. Just as a reminder, buying the unlocked 4G LTE-capable model of the iPad Pro from Apple will set you back $1,079. That’s probably what T-Mobile’s full retail price for it will be…

Right on time for the release of the iPad Pro today, Logitech has launched a couple of cases custom-made for Apple’s newest tablet.

The most interesting is perhaps the Logi Create Backlit Keyboard Case with Smart Connector. Just as its incredibly long name implies, this is an iPad Pro case that comes with a backlit keyboard. It has actual independent keys, and is full size according to its maker. It certainly looks a lot more like a laptop keyboard than Apple’s Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro.

It’s also cheaper than Apple’s offering, coming in at $149.99 (so $20 less than the Smart Keyboard). The Logi Create Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro connects to the tablet through the Smart Connector, which means that it automatically turns on when placed in the typing position, without the need for Bluetooth pairing. Furthermore, the keyboard doesn’t need to be charged, since it’s powered by the iPad.

The $79.99 Logi Create Protective Case with Any-Angle Stand is the cheaper option for those who don’t need to attach a keyboard to the iPad Pro. This is yet another Logitech product with a self-describing name. It’s a case that should protect your tablet. It has a stand that can adjust to any position within a 60-degree range. Will the Samsung Galaxy S7 be unveiled sooner than its predecessor was, as countless rumors have said over the past few weeks? That’s one of the big questions in the mobile world today. Yet if we’re to go by a new rumor, the answer to it could be both yes and no.

So let’s try this again. Will the Galaxy S7 be outed sooner than the S6? Well, yes, but not by much. See, the S6 pair was made official at an event on March 1, 2015, while the S7 (and S7 edge probably) are apparently due to be unveiled on February 21, 2016. So technically yes, it will be an earlier presentation, but only by eight days.

Oh, and the new timing only has to do with the scheduling of the Mobile World Congress, which next year starts on February 22 in Barcelona. This year it started on March 2. See a pattern? Yes, Samsung likes to hold its big event on the eve of MWC, so to speak, which is reportedly just what it will do in 2016 as well.

All of this information is said to come from “a tipster that has been right many times in the past”, so perhaps he’s right about this one too. Obviously though you shouldn’t take this for granted, at least not until Samsung makes the date of its event official.

A developer called Dmitry Grinberg, has ported Marshmallow to run on the Samsung-built Nexus S. He made a post explaining how he was able to build the software to run on outdated hardware.

The Nexus S has a 1Ghz Qualcomm Hummingbird processor, 1GB of system partition (which was separate from the userdata partition), and 512MB of RAM – all of which presented as obstacles to supporting Marshmallow.

Android phones today share the total internal storage partition with apps and files. Early versions of Android had two different partitions for storing apps (system) and storing photos (userdata). This meant that while your phone had 16GB of storage, you only had more or less 1GB to store firmware and apps. The memory and storage partitions have come a long way since then.

The ART runtime also was an obstacle since it kept timing out upon installation of apps (Facebook, in particular, was taking too long to compile and timing out). Grinberg also provided patches to increase the ART runtime timeout and graphics language.
