‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider’ Puts The Pressure On ‘Uncharted 4’

You might not know it, given all the attention being paid to Fallout 4, but another one of the year’s best games came out yesterday. Rise of The Tomb Raider, currently exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, is everything we loved about the 2013 reboot, just more. Bigger, deeper, wider, with more varied action, a more engaging setting, and more of the environmental puzzles that caught everyone’s attention the  first time around. If you’ve got an Xbox One, buy Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Huawei Watch disponible en Google Store

Uno de los Android Wear más bonitos y potentes que se han presentado durante este 2015 ha sido el Huawei Watch. Ya lo pudimos ver en acción, aunque por muy poco tiempo en el pasado Mobile World Congress de Barcelona y seguidamente lo pudimos ver durante el IFA de Berlín, dejándonos con un buen sabor de boca.

Hace un par de días veíamos como la compañía suiza, TAG Heuer, presento su primer reloj inteligente, el TAG Heuer Connected, siendo este el dispositivo más lujoso hasta la fecha en Android Wear. Como vemos los relojes inteligentes están empezando a causar furor, fuera de los fabricantes de tecnología, así que no es de extrañar que dentro de un par de años, empecemos a ver como los grandes fabricantes suizos de relojes convencionales sacan también sus dispositivos inteligentes de muñeca.

Dejando de lado el smartwatch de TAG Heuer, hasta la fecha en el mercado de Android Wear, nos encontrábamos con el Moto 360 como el smartwatch más bonito, qué enamoró al público en general y qué llevó a los demás fabricantes a plantearse el diseño de sus futuros smartwatches. Este reloj inteligente de Motorola, era uno de los smartwatches más bonitos, pero con la llegada del Huawei Watch, el trono por ser el dispositivo más bonito está más disputado.

Huawei Watch ya disponible en España

Después de unos meses de su presentación oficial, el dispositivo de Huawei ya se encuentra disponible para su compra en España. A modo resumen, vemos como el reloj cuenta con, una pantalla con cristal zafiro circular de 1’4 pulgadas y tecnología AMOLED, con resolución de 400 x 400 píxeles lo que se traduce a una densidad por píxel de 286 ppi. En su interior nos encontramos un procesador fabricado por Qualcomm, el Snapdragon 400 y junto a este SoC, le acompañan 512 MB y 4 GB de almacenamiento interno.

Por otra parte, vemos como el Huawei Watch incorpora una batería de 300 mAh, además de Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, giroscopio, acelerómetro, sensor de ritmo cardíaco, barómetro y micrófono. El dispositivo se puede comprar en tiendas especializadas, como Amazon y también, a partir de hoy, en la Google Store.

De momento tan sólo se encuentra disponible la versión con la correa de malla plateada, por lo que si quieres optar por otra versión deberás esperar a que lleguen las demás versiones. Por último comentar que su precio es de 449 €, un precio más elevado al respecto de su competencia, como el LG Watch Urbane o el Moto 360.

Apple iOS 9.2 Betas Reveal 7 Important Features

Earlier this week, Apple released iOS 9.2 beta 3 to developers, which was about one week after iOS 9.2 beta 2 was released. iOS 9.2 is the fifth release of iOS 9 and is the second major iOS 9 update. Developers and public beta testers can download iOS 9.2 beta 3 (build 13C71) from the Apple Beta Software Program website or over-the-air through the Settings app. Compared to previous software updates iOS 9.2 appears to be a minor update, but it still has some useful features. Here is a breakdown of some of the features that will be shipped in iOS 9.2:

LG V10 — Bells, Whistles and More

For a week now, I’ve had the chance to review LG’s new V10 smartphone. It’s loaded with features. A couple of them I’m still trying to figure out. For example, there’s a dual front camera that allows you to take regular selfies or wider-angle selfies that can include more people in the photo. With a mug like mine, I’m not a selfie kind of guy. But my kids love this photo feature. The phone also offers a second, customizable “screen” above the regular 5.7-inch display. It’s an always-on thin band that shows recent apps, notifications, etc. I actually found this feature to be quite useful in accessing items quickly — I suppose quicker than just locating them on the main screen. I admit it took some time to get used to, though. Not sure how many ways I need to locate an app. I’m pretty organized in how I display apps on the main screen, but this is a nice option to have.
