No ha salido ni siquiera la verisón 17.3 y ya se habla de la versión 18, los rumores indican que se llamará Sarah y que estará basada en Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
El equipo de Linux Mint no para de darnos agradables sorpresas, ayer mismo nos enteramos sobre que ya se estaba desarrollando la versión 17.3 y que estaba prevista para el mes de Diciembre, pues hoy mismo nos hemos enterado de algunos rumores acerca de la siguiente versión, la 18.
La fuente de la información proviene de algunos comentarios del jefe del equipo de Linux Mint, Clement Lefebvre,éstos comentarios se produjeron en el post del blog de Linux Mint en el cual se anunciaba la versión 17.3 y en los cuáles hacia algunas menciones a éste sistema, el cual solo es un embrión ya que el equipo está envuelto en el desarrollo de la versión 17.3
En cuanto a lo que se ha hablado, sabemos la siguiente información:
Por ahora no sabemos más acerca de éste sistema, pero es útil como dato curioso, ya que muestra el enorme esfuerzo que están realizando los chicos de Linux Mint, los cuáles mientras trabajan en la versión 17.3, ya piensan en la versión 18.
También mencionaba como las versiones 17.x de Linux Mint, tendrán soporte hasta el año 2019(coincide con la duración del soporte de la versión LTS de Ubuntu en la que esté basada), así que los que prefieran las versiones anteriores no tendrán ningún problema en cuanto al soporte se refiere.La nueva versión al estar basada en Ubuntu 16.04 LTS tendrá soporte hasta el año 2021.
En cuanto al lanzamiento no se sabe todavía nada, pero la versión 16.04 LTS de Ubuntu saldrá en Abril así que ésta nueva versión de Linux Mint podría estar disponible en el verano del 2016.

We’ve already seen the new LG Nexus device, called the Nexus 5X, a few times in photos. This latest leak shows off an alleged third color that’s going to be available alongside black and white. It’s a light green mint color, and although it just looks like poor lighting, it’s said to be a color that will be available at launch.

Mohamed, who is a student at the Irving Independent School District in Irving, Texas, was arrested on Monday after he brought a homemade clock to school that teachers and police mistook for a bomb.
