Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #22: Wonders of the Ancient World
Great use of colour in this build! It's made to look like candy or sugar and it does the job! The machines and the assembly lines had enough detail so that we knew exactly what they did and their function and it looked good too. Just one small criticism is that the outside of the building seemed a little plain with the one block type. But still, great build!
Not at all what I expected but I still loved it! It was a really neat take on the challenge and I loved the story of how the worlds are being made and the way that all the colours on the planets blended together looked really neat. The only criticism is that station itself was a little bland on the outside. Maybe another layer on the side would give it a bit more depth and look better?
Another really neat build. Loved the use of conveyor belts and how he used different blocks to represent different stages of the cooling process. Liked the colour too, the only problem was the use of stone for the floor and the walkways outside. It made the build, especially the outside, look really bland. A better floor pattern or the use of another block outside would have given it a better feel.
Honourable mentions
The pyramids, the hanging gardens…
These are but two of the wonders of the world! This time, we will be recreating these amazing structures in our worlds! Are you ready to inspire people? Maybe your build will be a wonder of minecraft someday! Let's see!
Inspiration
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World : Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (also known as the Mausoleum of Mausolus), Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria
Easy Mode: Look at the inspiration image. This contains the seven wonders. You must build one of these wonders. Recreate it either in our time (if you can), the time it was in its prime or during its building process. Please specify which wonder it is.
Hard Mode: All mentioned above however….
Look at the image of whatever wonder you chose. After you build it and take screenshots of it, you must take a screenshot of the wonder which matches the image of it in the inspiration. This includes the terrain around the wonder and other structures around the wonder. Try to match the image the best you can. Again, specify which wonder it is.

(Theory) Maybe the Illagers dug abandoned mineshafts
This is all just a guess but maybe the illagers are searching for the lost strongholds. Proof can be seen in that intent via the mock end portals made of wool seen in the woodland mansions. Perhaps these illagers wish to harness the powers of the end. Whatever the reason, they carved out the underground creating massive mineshafts whose sole purpose was to locate the end portal; hence why they left all the mineral ores exposed. Now I know that some of you may say that they've found strongholds intersecting with mineshafts. If this is the case, then the illagers have succeeded in finding the portal. However, the portal requires ender eyes which they lacked. As they search for more ender eyes they continue to conspire in their mansions. What do you guys think? Does this theory hold any weight?

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #21: Factory
This is an example of going above and beyond the theme. We always set the theme in place but usually there's a lot of wiggle room. This build is perfect for showing that you can expand upon the original theme and make your build really unique. The build is very organic which we liked and also although there is detail, it's not too much so that the build feels busy. Also, for the interior, I personally loved the use of darkness. Great build!!
Another great build. This one we really liked because of how well the building design is. Also, the use of red and black to contrast the grey stone worked tremendously! The statues and fighting in the main arena was also really neat and well made. However, as always, terrain outside of your building is important and the superflat world that was showed when you had pictures of the exterior brought down the build a bit (although I understand as you mentioned time constraints). Still a good build!
First of all, loved the statue outside of the build! The Arena looks really good and I like the choice of colour. Also, I see what you wanted to do with the villager spectators however, with them spread out here and there, it really makes it apparent how bare the stadium is. I believe that it would have looked better with no spectators or completely jammed pack with them rather than them just spread out. We also loved the exterior, which had lots of depth and really made the build for us! Good job!
Honourable mentions
Where did all those block come from? All those thousands of blocks that have been placed in these build challenges…
They must have come from a factory! This is what we'll be building this week, factories to create the many different materials that we use in our builds, whether it be lumber, stone or ores! So get to building and creating!
Inspiration
Thanks to /u/dermasbroo for this challenge!
Easy Mode: Build a decorated (not just a simple stone box) factory with a theme inside (lumber milling, sewing, metal fabrication, car manufacture, etc)
Hard Mode: All mentioned above and a warehouse where the products are being placed before being transported, and a method of transportation, be it a horse drawn carriage, an early truck, or a train on rails transporting coal to the factory.
