Devs: here is how to fix piston/dropper placement

The solution comes from pumpkins.

Open your F3 menu: when you place a pumpkin on the ground, it's facing you if your orientation is between -45° and +45°. At +45.0001° the pumpkin is rotated on way, at -45.0001° it's rotated the other. Good.

Now for some reason pistons and droppers don't follow that rule for the vertical angle… Here is how they should behave, and here is an album of inconsistencies due to the current system.

(Suggestion) For the love of everything that is good, can we PLEASE get the ability to move items via scroll wheel?

I don't remember which mod does it, but a few years ago I played Attack of the B-Team and you could move items one by one by hovering over a stack and scrolling the scroll wheel. It was insanely useful for furnaces and things like that. PLEASE let that be a thing, especially with the new crafting book.
