Rogue One shines because despite being a prequel, it doesn’t rely as heavily on the past as The Force Awakens. Both films are great, but ultimately Rogue One is the better offering.

Grid Autosport: el videojuego llega también a Linux
10 de diciembre de 2016, esa es la fecha que marcaron los desarrolladores del videojuego Grid Autosport para que éste título de simulación de carreras y conducción llegase a la plataforma del pingüino (SteamOS y otras distros GNU/Linux), así como también para Mac. Pues bien, el título ahora está disponible también para dichas plataformas después de una larga espera desde 2014, cuando llegó a Windows, PlayStation y Xbox.
Los desarrolladores de Gird Autosport son Feral Interactive, y así lo anunciaron desde sus redes sociales, concretamente desde Twitter. Ahora el simulador con opciones de multijugador llega también a nosotros para que podamos disfrutar de él, tanto en nuestro PC como en las Steam Machines si tenemos alguna de ellas. Con él podremos disfrutar de conducir vehículos de diferentes categorías, desde turismos hasta un monoplaza de Formula 3.
Para poder disfrutar de las carreras en este fantástico videojuego, que podría ser un buen regalo para estas Navidades, necesitaremos un hardware medianamente potente. Los requisitos que apuntaban en la web oficial del videojuego son un Intel Core 2 Dudo 2.6Ghz o superior en cuanto a a CPU, unos 4GB de memoria RAM, y una tarjeta gráfica NVIDIA de 1GB de memoria gráfica o superiores, con GPU de la serie 600. Por supuesto también valen tarjetas gráficas de AMD y sus procesadores equivalentes…
Por cierto, y aunque sea un post sobre videojuegos y un blog de Linux, aprovecho para anunciar que AMD ya tiene nombre oficial para su primer chip para el escritorio basado en la microarquitectura Zen, se llama AMD Ryzen y es un poquito más potente que el Intel Core i7 6900K, el chip más potente de Intel en la actualidad. Pero esto puede parecer poca ventaja, pero hay que contar que Ryzen solo tiene un TDP de 95w frente al consumo de 140w del Intel, y además el chip de Intel cuesta unos 1200€ frente a los 200-300€ que costaría Ryzen. ¡Eso si que es algo jugoso!
