Audi Avoids Trump’s Wrath (So Far…) While Opening First Luxury Car Plant in Mexico

If you believe Donald Trump you might think Ford is a traitorous U.S. automaker, deserving of public shaming and worse, for shifting automotive production from the U.S. to Mexico. If you’ve got the power of rational thought and a modicum of business analytics you know Ford has to balance U.S. interests with common sense financial practices, which in this case means moving small-car production to Mexico. A combination of lower labor costs and exceptional free-trade agreements in Mexico means Ford can produce small cars at a reasonable profit there while re-allocating former U.S.-based small-car production to higher-profit trucks and SUVs. It’s the kind of common-sense move any smart business leader (something Trump claims to be…) would make in a heartbeat.

Google, Why Is Your New Phone An iPhone Clone?

Internet leaks are, depending on the type of person you are, either great or bad news — and there’s really no in between.
